I agree dumping a lot of cap money for Mac or Malik is not the way to go.

We have Howard. I like the man, but he did not play outside of early camp where he was starting to make some noise.

    We can

    1. Trade up for Mendoza ( offering say or 1st, 2nd,3rd and next year first round pick ) .

    2. Draft Simpson and gamble that he will be there. He was a very good one year wonder with a thin resume and will likely need at least a year to start in the NFL.

    3. Roll with Howard or Rudoplh and spend 3 a round two or three. Maybe Beck or Allar.

First we must find a new Head coach and Offensive coordinator.

Drew Allar has been terrible and shown zero growth as a QB.

They tried to hide him in big games because they didn’t trust him.

He will be lucky to get drafted at all. Probably a 6th or 7th round pick at best.

I have to give it to his PR team. People always talk about his physical traits but what I witnessed wasn’t impressive at all physically.

Please stop saying his name as a potential pick. He’s terrible.

Will Howard, what else are we going to do?

We spent a 3rd on him, let's take a look. What's the point of the pick otherwise?

Draft looks awful at QB, and we're too low anyway, take a flyer later maybe.

The draft capital, which is substantial (4th best on toal overall) we have needs to go on foundational pieces for a rebuild.

The QB is highly unlikely to be founf this year, unless it does indeed turn out to be Howard.

There's holes all over we unsuccesfully tried to paper over, let's stop doing that and try and find long term solutions.

All the run it back people have had their shot, they failed and their run it back coach has gone, let's try a different approach and **** the record. I don't care.

We never sniffed the super bowl once our QB stopped "playing the field"

Wouldn't mind Mac jones, but I want to see howard. If we go with Howard I'd like to see them draft one as well. Keep the pipeline full. Altmyer from Illinois would be my choice. No first rounder.

I don’t wanna see Malik Willis or Kyler Murray her Justin Fields Take our lumps and let’s get one. There’s no quick fixes tired of the washed up quarterback situation.

The HC/OC combination will have a huge say in what we do at QB. The Shanahan offense would be excellent for someone like Jones to be a stop gap starter, but maybe they really like Howard and Rudolph and decide that Jones is a lateral move. Maybe the new HC/OC doesn't like either of them and wants to swing on Simpson. Or Willis, or Daniel Jones even.... Idk.

Personally, I hope we don't spend a pick on a QB in the first 3 rounds. Its more important to build a good roster to insulate the next young QB than it is to force a young QB because we're afraid of not having a great QB room in 2026. Lots still has to happen before we start speculating.
