100%, you tear this ***** down to the studs and rebuild. You get a new head coach and all new assistants. Everyone in that place from secretary to trainers should feel that tight sphincter when you feel you need to prove your relevance. That's how you stay sharp and avoid complacency. Essentially how the private sector works vs the public sector (like teachers, government workers, etc :lolol:).

Burn it to the ground! Unfortunately Dementia Rooney can’t be fired. His son is supposedly a football guy.

My uninformed speculation is that Tomlin was going to have to fire much of his
I wonder if part of Tomlin’s decision was because he knew that he would need to largely clean house of his coordinators and assistants, and he’s very loyal and couldn’t go through that and have to start fresh with much of his staff. That would add to the toll that a high pressure head coaching job takes.

That's part of the gig, ""It's not personal, Sonny. It's strictly business". If you can't do it or see when it needs to be done you need to be removed.

Stewart was always a quarterback. He was a very good one at Colorado. They realized he was capable of helping them at receiver, but were forced to use him there due to injuries. The whole Slash thing was a great example of Cowher's creativity, but no, he did not convert a receiver into a quarterback.

Im not putting anything on him. Bruce Willis has that I believe looks pretty bad when it’s advanced. I’m saying he seems out of it or very medicated when he talks.

Have any evidence that Rooney has dementia?

That's also a reason Noll retired. He was told he needed to get rid of assistants, had already done that previously and found it painful, and elected to retire instead.

I didn’t know that. I just looked it up and you are correct!
