Yesh, that gear is only good for a few weeks at best until they lose.

how the steelers got run on all night is because tomlin continually plays players out of position. he has been playing benton at nose all season and he gets blown off the ball or shoved aside every time. he should be playing end not nose. black should have been playing at nose even if just because of his sheer size.

JFC. Every ****ing year. For some reason I thought this season would be different. Hall of fame QB. OL looking strong. High paid defense showing signs of life. Strong RB crew. TE crew strong. Weak at WR but a decent WR1 (not).

Nope. Squeak into the playoffs and get exposed again. We are the paper tiger joke of the league. Every ****ing year.

This feels like it should not have happened, but the Steelers’ defensive trenches got drudged by a Texans offensive line that has been fine this year, but not great. They were the 28th ranked rushing offense coming into the league, but were over 55 percent for the rushing success rate this game.

Nevermind the past, dunno how anyone looks at the product we put on the field tonight and not be utterly disgusted. Did our multi million dollar man TJ do enough? Was Harmon in on all those runs? Did Fautanu earn where we drafted him? Was Meuth in the entire game? Is the commentator saying "he's wide open" a part of ever Steeler game coverage now? Was it worth getting rid of George, on a Rookie contract and who made Prescot look decent, with multi million dollar DK Metcalf? Is Roman Wilson still on this team? Ah, and Jonnu Smith, is it me or is he and Ebron the same player?

Rogers really had little to throw to. As evident by the fact that our RB, originally untouched by our coaching staff, is and was in serious contention to be our #1 receiver. LMAO, wrap your mind around that if you will.
Team DK up with George and now you're talking about a nightmare to defend against no matter who the QB.

But as they say, time to move on. We need to find our future, not our past, we've read that book and it's ending. It starts with finding a young franchise QB and arguably, a coach.

Well I am shocked, SHOCKED. Tomlin has never done this before. I wasn't expecting this. Thankfully, we'll have another year for a chance at Tomlin playoff victory.

I wonder how many more decades it will take him. If you don't have a Mike Tomlin, you're looking for a Mike Tomlin.

Well I think the entire Steelers mentality can be described as: they want to win it all and have all the success without risking or sacrificing anything. They want to win here and now without risking anything in the future, which prevents them from rebuilding. But on the other hand, they want to win in the future which prevents them from going all in now. It is just so confusing and ridiculous and I generally have the feeling what they are trying to do is completely wishful thinking and I fail to see the big plan for years now. And Tomlin plays a huge role in that, people still underestimate how much power he has within the franchise

Judging by what little it takes to get an extension from Spineless Rooney, I have to believe you're correct. A rotten mushmelon would get an extension from Rooney. I just wish I was a coach there. TENURE!!!

Yeah, he hasn't been double-teamed much this year, and at this point he's cooked. Anyone with a brain could see he was cooked last year...of course, that means Rooney and Tomlin didn't see it...have to have a brain.

I dunno, that was a nail-biter as far as Tomlin playoff losses go. He's such a great coach, we are lucky to have him.

I wonder, would a pop-warner team even want him or when he strolls up and says, "I heard your having trouble getting a parent to coach this under 8 year old team. I'd be happy to volunteer my services and teach these young men all about football."

As the parent looks at Tomlin glancingly, he mumbles "uh, no thanks, we're good" and walks away.

As one of the 3rd highest paid HC in NFL, a defense minded one, he could have coached us up to be the number one Defense. Or hire some good coordinators and Coaches to do the work. At least an OC who uses the middle of the field.

I promise u, drake Maye will destroy your best Defense in NFL next week. And i tell u a secret. It will be not on him. The coaches will find a way to succeed

Super glad I accidentally fell asleep when the box score was still 7-6. The end score did not surprise. In fact, it was supremely predictable.

    • But some fans say Meyer has done a great job with what he had to work with. Five guys struggled to block 4 guys all night long.
    • Smith notoriously played Allgeier over Robinson in ATL.
    • Jonnu was nothing but empty calories the entire season in this offense but A. Smith's repeated use of him speaks volumes about his ability to understand talent utilization. Sure hope he gets a HC nod from some desperate team but I would be shocked after what potential teams witnessed last night.

    Darn Ravens Kicker ruined everything.
    Got his Coach fired.
Sent an unqualified team to the Playoffs.

Hate to say it, but the Ravens would. Has anyone done less with more than Harbaugh these past few years?
