older guys that need to be replaced soon:

    AR
    Cam
    TJ
    Ramsey
    Isaac Seaumalo (hell be 33)

    In addition Need:
    A new CB
    A new WR
    A safety

we do have some young players, but they have to at least partially rebuild around a new drafted Qb.

He has $16 million reasons to coach one more season and Art won’t fire him no mater what. My guess is now’s out after next season.

Tomlin tied the record for consecutive playoff losses, how low do we want to go?

Not sure there is as much demand for him as people think. He hasnt won in the postseason in almost a decade. In fact his teams have not even been competitive in the postseason, and hes got too many miles on him.

Unfortunately this loss guarantees he doesn't leave. He's going out on his own terms, and he's not going to want to leave on this note. Rooney doesn't have the balls to do an Andy Reid type firing even though that's what should happen.

It's really a hopeless feeling as a fan. We're doomed to repeat this

We need to draft a QB, we can’t roll with limited veterans.

    Unfortunately this is today’s society
    Winning isn’t everything
Pittsburgh used to be the City of Champions

Seems he has a record to break by coming back then. Might as well add a few more on top of that to solidify the record never breaks. :)

On the season, Pittsburgh went just 1-6 against playoff teams.

If the Steelers keep Tomlin, then Khan must go. Someone of significance needs to take the fall for what happened.

    Why Khan?
The common denominator will still remain
    Khan is a new GM
    This all falls on Tomlin

Because replacing coordinators and few position coaches isn't enough change for me. Either Tomlin or Khan need to be packing their bags in the morning. Blame Tomlin for getting him fired if that makes you feel better.

I do miss the days of Bill Cowher. He may not have had a winning season every year, but somehow he seemed to always make us relevant. With Tomlin’s non-losing seasons, I don’t go into any season feeling confident.

Why stop at tying a record when you can have it to yourself?

    Uh, Tomlin has had:
    • 2 Owners
    • 2 GMs
    • 3 DCs
    • 5 OCs
    • 8 QBs
What makes you think changing any of them changes the results that we see if he's still HC?

No need to wait. Here is what you will hear:

Steelers president Art Rooney II reiterated his confidence in coach Mike Tomlin despite another late-season collapse and early playoff exit but said it’s apparent his team is not at the same level as the best teams in the league.

Rooney said the “biggest piece of the puzzle” heading into the offseason is determining what to do at quarterback, where both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are unrestricted free agents.

“We got to figure out what to do better,” Rooney said Monday during his annual season-ending press conference with Steelers reporters. “Mike knows what the goal is. He’s as disappointed as I am.”

One year after he indicated he was impatient and said it was time to start winning playoff games, the Steelers failed to heed their owner’s directive and lost their sixth postseason game in a row, tied for the longest active streak in the league. They have not won a playoff game in eight years, the franchise’s longest drought since 1972.

Despite outcries from the fan base about Tomlin’s failures to win a playoff game, Rooney said he is committed to his coach, who will enter his 19th season in 2025. Rooney gave Tomlin a three-year, $50 million extension in June that will keep him through the 2027 season.

When you look at how many games Mike has won in this league [183, 12th all time], you don’t win that many games if you’re not a good coach,” Rooney said. “I know he’s frustrated — like we all are — in terms of not being able to take that next step.

“But we still feel good about him being a good leader. When you got a good coach, you try to keep him in place. When I talk to the players, they still want to play for Mike.”
