I remember when M. Willis , and S. Sanders were receiving 1st round grades, how'd that work out for them??
    LoL.
    I'm not saying he won't, I'm saying I don't think he's worth it.

No. It's exactly what I asked. If You haven't noticed, I'm not shy.
IMO, I see 2 Qbs I believe are better Qbs than him coming out, I see a lot of Qbs that are more athletically gifted, but that means nothing to playing Qb, but this Question was what everyone else thought.

That isn't the Question. The question is How many do you think is definitely better than Him that are comingout this year??
I only see two that I would say I believe are better than him, and of course I'm not sure about that either. I see a bunch that are more athletic than him,,but we know that doesn't make a Qb.

Isn't this the QB class we were supposed to tank for so we could get a top2-3 pick in this draft? I think that means ALL of them are going to be great. :rawk:

You got to be suspicious of a Qb that the team let go for someone else, and was consider a punk by many in Georgia.

Dante Moore for sure, but he’s an easy Top 5 pick. Probably Mendoza, but I need to see more of him in adversity to be sure. I haven’t watched enough of anyone else yet other than Joe Fagnano who I’ve seen in person for every UCONN home game. He had a great 28 TD to 1 int ratio, but I think his ceiling is as a backup if things click just right for him

I guess to answer it, you have to first have a take on what Howard's ceiling is and then evaluate that against the ceiling for any of the other 2026 draft QBs.

I am not able to see what others see in Howard. That is not to say he is not capable or even probable to be a top tier NFL starter like I have seen multiple places on the internet claim. I just do not see what the foundation for that opinion is based on.

So I have Howard as a frisky back-up tier kinda guy. A better Mason Rudolph.

Looking at 2026 draft, the guy from Indiana and the guy from Oregon are supposed to be better than that. So I guess 2? I do not know much about Simpson. I actually do not know much about any of them.

But it does not seem like they are head and shoulders above Howard. And if Howard isn't all that...maybe this whole class is kind of a nothing burger?

Are we sure he won't stay in college for his 8th year?

The math doesn't seem to work out but somehow after playing 7 years of college he just turned 23 in November. Was he 16 in his freshman year of college?

Trading up to the top 2picks would cost us 3 first rounders plus some.
Willis is going to get paid based on his performance against Baltimore.
ARod signing with Minnesota and those WRs? Stay tuned.

Well to repeat, nothing is definite, so zero.

But based on last year and his draft position there are potentially 6-7.

I swear I heard them say that it was 7 years on the broadcast, but looks like he redshirted in 2020.

I see that Miami's top WR is also 17 this season. They were saying on the broadcast last night that he "flexed out" of a year of HS. I don't even know what that means. If they are great in HS are they now just blowing off their Senior year and going straight to college to play?

I hope it's not the Steelers that take him in the first round.

You could just say, I don't watch that much college football, and so I don't know, or have an opinion

Appreciate the answer. It's hard to tell of course, but I'm only seeing 2, maybe 3 at the most.
Now there are a few that are interesting, do only to size, speed, and arm strength, but those are for later rounds IMO.

Find that hard to argue against.

I freely admit that I do not watch much college football. I honestly find it boring and an uninteresting style of football in most games. Maybe when the Badgers don't suck. As a result, I really only "learn" about potential draft picks when it is draft season and I can watch video reports and read breakdowns on specific players.

All that being said...initial reports are the QBs in the 2026 class are largely a big nothing. Maybe I am just uniformed about the class. But what I have read I do not see many guys with high end tools. Lots of limited guys counting on "processing" to make them right. That was the book on Pickett. And that book sucked.

Reading on the next Qb class and you have like a half dozen guys that might have issues in their game but supposedly have physical abilities that make one sit up and take notice.

For me, and I have no real support for this opinion, I am always (always) going to want the guy that is bigger, stronger, faster, and more creative when the play breaks down. Whatever else he is missing, you teach him.

For his sake I hope he was reclassified a grade ahead based on academics and not just to get him playing for NIL money sooner. The kid is a terrific player, and he at least shows football smarts.
