with a 43 year old Qb? If that happened we’d have to consider Rodgers and him the best ever lol

Seems the NYG are holding out hope for Tomlin rather than jumping on Harbaugh:

"What was expected to be a long and drawn-out process for the Giants just got longer and more drawn out," Schwartz said. "They are waiting to see what happens in the first round of the playoffs with Mike Tomlin and the Steelers and Matt LaFleur and the Packers. One or both of those respected head coaches could be let go, depending on how their teams fare this weekend. This could end up being a wild ride, with a few monster candidates sorting through all sorts of offers."

That makes no sense because they would have to give up draft picks for Tomlin, I bet we will see the Giants interview Harbaugh next week.

Tomlin is worth the draft picks.

I'm not sure why any team would trade for Tomlin if they can hire Harbaugh without giving up any more picks. I would rather have Tomlin, but the margin is very small.

Aside from the Giants maybe having a completely different viewpoint then yours, Tomlin also comes out on top in the rivalry.

Interesting since he gives a scouting report on our opponent every week.

And speaks glowingly of them. He has no interest in tearing anyone down.

I agree 100 percent. I'm not hating on Tomlin or saying he should go but this year would be good timing. Especially if Cam retires(locker room leader), Rodgers retires (no obvious starter waiting in the wings). All the pics like you said. I would like to see a reload/restart with a whole new coaching staff. I think if Tomlin stays he will continue to piece together a team. My dream would be trading Tomlin and a third rounder to the Giants for their first rounder. The Giants have stud receiver, running back and starting QB. They need leadership and stability. Tomlin will give them that.

We can really start going tinfoil hat...ready...set...go!

Tomlin and the Steelers are not favored to win their wildcard round playoff game.
Harbaugh is holding scheduling interviews until next week.

Therefore, ipso facto post hoc ergo propter hoc presto chango....

Harbaugh will be named the Steelers coach after Tomlin retires to do TV with Tony Dungy and Jay Glazer.

Thought you meant James Harrison at first. Was thinking that would be interesting.

Because there are more teams with openings than Harbaugh's available.

When Tomlin decides to leave/retire/whatever...the only guarantee is that whoever the Steelers hire as a new HC will be someone young and someone the average fan has never heard of.

That response was specifically about the Giants possibly passing on Harbaugh, who has been rumored as their choice, to trade for Tomlin.

if we get SMOKED and EMBARRASSED this weekend, there should be LOTS of pressure for Mike to 'find something else to do'
