Placing the cart before a non playoff winning head coach. It has been 9 year since our last playoff win.

Sadly it is only a matter of time until we are sent home for this season. There is no guarantee, but I hope Tomiln is fired ( Not likely ), gets a TV gig and is arranged upon settlement to settlement to leave the Steelers ( easier on Art Rooney II ) or is traded for next year. ( A real long shot )

Yet Tomiln doesn't think we played poorly vs. the Browns. A very bad football team starting a rookie QB who held us to six points? WTF. I'm sure your English professor could give us some colorful metaphors on that one.

Rooney better watch out, as anger can quickly become apathy with the fans. What was spoken loudly in our last game at
    Acrisure Stadium?

    " Fire Tomlin "

Yesterday Shefter was hinting at Tomlin or Harbaugh, perhaps both, stepping aside after the season. This year definitely feels different.

Tomlin shouldn’t be given the option to step aside. He should be fired.

Is Shefter says it, the chances are it is true. In this case I think his sources are leaking it out.

Agents are definitely talking. Ray Fittapaldo hinted at the possibilities of the Rooney's not exercising the 27 option year. Wouldn't surprise me if we woke up next Wednesday morning and Tomlin is giving a introductory speech for the NY football Giants.

Naw, why fire him when you could trade him. Set that up by refusing to exercise the 27 option and mutually go separate ways and allow him to pick the team he wants to coach next.

3 weeks ago we were 7 and 6 with a very bleak looking future. The Dolphins were on a 4 game winning streak, the Lions had the highest scoring offense in the league and the Ravens were getting Lamar back. Then we beat the Dolphins and Lions to go 9 and 6. We were around a 90% favorite to take the division. At that point, Tomlin has saved his season. If he were to somehow win a playoff game on top of that, he buys another 2 contracts of life with the Steelers.

On the flip side, we are now a 45% favorite to take the division. If we don't even make the playoffs at all due to a loss to the Ravens, the calls for Tomlin's head will be legendary.

Anyone remember when the Washington fans, and media said that Shanahan, and his father couldn't coach, they were sure of it. Hell it cost them a job. LoL

I don't see what that has to do with Tomlin's situation.

Well, the situations aren't remotely close, aside from two coaches the fanbase and some of the media think might be better off with a change in scenery. If you're going to tout Kyle Shanahan's success, he wasn't the head coach back then - he was a 33 year-old in just his second stint as an OC (less than five years in the role).

Tomlin is 53 and has been a head coach for 19 years.

Yet the fans, and the media blamed it on the Shanahans.

They aren't remotely close aside from. LoL. Therefore there is links, the main link is fans, and the media thinking they know more than they do, and when something is repeated enough, the weak minded start to believe it.

I always get a kick out you LoL'ing at others' posts while you continue to post this kind of stuff that you seem to think is logical.
