Now, if the synopsis was about a woke owner who prioritizes politics over winning, I’d say you might have an Emmy award winning movie here.

That essentially says the books think the Steelers are 6pt dog, in tight games they essentially give the home team-3 as a matter of course.

Has nothing to do with emotion. If you took a swipe/swing at a customer in your job, I'm betting that you wouldn't have that job within the week. I know at my job, I'd be fired for something like that and I don't have a protective contract with some clause about behavior. Behaviors like that don't deserve 45 million dollars. They can replace him with that money easily.

I can understand why he reacted, but it's still not okay and it's likely to cost several others money and opportunities.

Can't remember where I heard it tonight, but the Steelers fortunes changed when character guys like Bettis, Farrior, Polamalu, Faneca, Ward left and were replaced with talented guys who were more concerned about their stats and the team's performance, this decade of mediocrity was the result. Hard to argue based on the results.

 

That's why Pickens was traded. He seems like one of these guys.

 

Fine to trade him for that reason, but not replacing the production is the mistake.

And for all of Pickens' issues, what Metcalf has done is worse.

 

Could be that the NFL will gift us a win over Ravens for the TV right to the spectacle they will sell next week.

 

You want a real spectacle and some drama. Sign AB for the game. Have him go nuts, strip and attack Goodell at the end of the game.
