I’m sorry that is over the top by the NFL. I’m all for discipline but this is egregious.

 

I think his prior history has caught up with him.

 

I’m all for accountability, but something seems amiss.

DK reports the guy to security a year ago, then runs into the same guy this year. In the midst of it all, the fan has already lawyered up (within 24 hours of the incident).

DK shouldn’t have gone over. His response was inappropriate. It just seems like there is more to the story.

 

2 games, damn. Probably got a 2 game suspension because he had altercation with the same fan in the past.

 

If Metcalf reported this guy last year and nothing was done then this league should be ashamed. The guy didn’t pay thousands for a field side seat just to be cordial to Metcalf. Yes Metcalf should know better, but if someone call my mother what this guy supposedly call Metcalf’s I’d smack him like Jeff Reed smacked that paper towel holder

 

There was no altercation, he just had to report this fan for harassing him in a game last year. He didn't do anything with him in that instance

Steelers run their team like Adam Silver runs the NBA. Or a lax parent. It’s a weak way to run a ship. Winning focus suffers. And quality. And the Steelers used to be all about doing **** right.

 

He will most likely appeal and they will drop it to 1 game so that they look better in the publics eye while sending a message to the players about acceptable behavior.

 

We now know DK stands for "Dumb Knucklehead." If DK was that butthurt, he should have just ordered a bunch of shrimp, drove to the dude's work, and told the guy the Jerk Store called.

 

He should have already been banned. DK took the bait unfortunately. The guy got exactly what he wanted. Attention.

Tomlin is worried about 1000% things on game day, I doubt he even knew or had the time to deal with it during the game.

 

In his first five seasons alone, Metcalf was ejected twice and had 12 personal fouls. The red flags should have been there at least a bit.

 

Given that extra hit to Metcalf, the two-game suspension looks even more like overkill.

 

But remember, Pickens was too immature and selfish to keep. He is eligible to play this weekend, by the way.

 

I wonder if it gets lowered to 1 game on an appeal?
