I usually don't get too wrapped up in these online polls, but I really don't want to lose to that purple piece of $h!# jersey. Vote people!

I don't think there is one. As far as I can tell you just check the little box next to the uniforms you prefer.

I know this is blasphemy, but I think the Ravens jersey is better, honestly. Maybe it is because I like purple. I understand it's tradition and I would never want the Steelers to change, but I've always found their jerseys a little boring. For some reason block numbers make such a difference on these jerseys, and I've never really liked them since the change.

 

Nope. Im old school. I Steelers, Colts, Packers, Giants, 9ers, Cowboys are all the best. Even the Raidahs. Simplicity (except the Clowns, they're TOO simple) is best.

I realize that this is the 3rd round, but I must ask about Seattle vs New Orleans, really? Where's Dallas (Dear God, please do not strike me down for typing this) but lets be honest, Steelers, Raiders, Cowboys, Packers - these are the classic uniforms, they are the pinstripes of the NFL. The Ravens can't decide if they wear purple jerseys with purple pants or white pants. Do they even wear purple, or maybe black? Their uniforms are ugly and had they not just won the superbowl, all the people sitting on their bandwagon right now would not think Purple is a good football color.

 

I love it! Who would we rather be up against, than our most hated rival?!?!

I saw someone else mention this, and I had the same problem on a previous NFL.COM voting page...
I HOPE it counts my vote, since I made sure I had the proper box checked, then closed the page, but not sure ...

I've always hated Baltimore's uniforms, even before they were our rival. I don't mind purple as a color, but for some reason black and purple I find disgusting. My favorites have always been ours, SF's, Buffalo before they got too dark (and I love the white helmets with the red thingie on it), and the Chiefs with the fire engine red pants. When I was a kid I used to like Cincy's helmets, but now I think they're kinda lame.

Best all time... I'm tempted to go with us, but I give the old powder blue Chargers, with the white helmets the edge.

 

I personally think overall that the Chargers have the coolest uniforms and deserve to win but if they were against us I would still vote against them. LOL.

 

My Top 10:

1. Bills...new uniforms mirror the 70s duds, very nice, and a welcomed change.
2. Bears
3. Giants...only the blue jersey combo
4. Chargers...only the powder blues
5. 49ers
6. Steelers...still don't like the rounded numbers and logo patch on the chest
7. Raiders
8. Cowboys...I don't like that the shade of blue of the jersey numbers, letters, and stripes doesn't come close to matching the blue on the helmets.
9. Chiefs
10. Colts

My Bottom 10:

1. Seattle
2. Broncos...the crap that started it all, back in 97
3. Bengals
4. Lions...they ruined a decent uniform and helmet
5. Patriots
6. Minnesota (see #4)
7. Dolphins (see #4 again)
8. Ravens
9. Saints...they need to go throwback, a la Bills
10. Jags

I can't believe they would even put that gawd-awful, ugly, wouldn't use for toilet paper, garbage sack, manure carrier, kitty litter liner, door mat, garage rag, used diaper Raven uniform up against a master piece of art, brilliantly thought out, masterfully coordinated, symposium of colors, thing of beauty Steelers uniform! Some things should just be obvious. I will give the one Raven's fan credit for having the fortitude to vote 25,000 times. Of course, that fan probably has nothing else to do because he doesn't have a job and he lives in Baltimore. On a side note, I would place the Raider's uniform second to ours.

While I'm a Steelers fan first, I'm still a NFL fan overall. Just differing opinions. I like the purple because it's unique. Funny how I don't like the Vikings jersey though. Weird.

As for the Avatar, that's the highlight of William Gay's career.

Am I the only person who thinks the old dark blue Charger's uniforms with the blue helmets were better than the powder blue/white helmet ones?

To be honest, I think I just like the uniforms from the 80s in general. They seemed a lot more... colourful... than today's.

The best is still the Steelers (with block numbers), hands down.

 

It's that kind of thinking that made the Broncos, Bucs, Bills, Eagles, Seahawks, and Rams change their uniforms. From "wimpy" bright colors to "manly" dark, all-look-the-same, boring colors. I liked all of those uniforms better before, with the possible exception of the Bucs when it comes to aesthetics, but even for them I wish they'd just re-designed them and kept the same colors. Changing your team colors is changing your team, in my opinion, and they should be proud of their colors if for no other reason than they are their own. Colors shouldn't have degrees of toughness associated with them any more than they should have genders associated with them. Don't even get me started on how ridiculous the blue is for boys and pink is for girls crap is.

When just one of those teams changes, it could argue that it's for some random reasons. But the pattern is clear, and to me it's a disappointing attitude, as well as a loss of tradition and literal/figurative color in the sport. I give credit to the Dolphins for not giving in and keeping what I'm sure a lot of people consider "wimpy" uniforms.
