Being reported that the Dolphins offered 4 first rd picks prior to the draft for him. Wow, four 1’s.

IDK I’m calling :bscow: on this for a bunch of reasons

ESPN’s Adam Schefter dropped a bombshell on Saturday that the Miami Dolphins, who had the No. 5 pick in the NFL Draft that year, were ready to trade four first-rounders to move up four spots to take Burrow with the first-overall pick.

Thats even worse. They turned down 4 first and it wasnt even known how good Burrow would be at the pro level.

Cant imagine the starting point being less than that now. Maybe the injury history will work against them.

    No freaking way.
I can't believe a team would turn that down. I think I give anyone on our team for that. LoL

Think, I would probably give away anyone on the team for 1 first.

    Really?

I can't see why people think he's earned one... He's a fine back up, but there is a reason why we're the only team willing to pay him (and we pay him less than 4m at that - 46th highest paid NFL QB).

The only way we give Mason a shot is if we are fully okay with a throwaway season that would earn us a top 10 pick to take a QB the year after. Our roster isn't good enough to win games with Mason at QB.

No. Not really. It was a joke, hence the name Manson Randolph. I could have used green text but I thought it was obvious.

Drafting Tua was largely on Brian Flores; not so much on Chris Grier nor Stephen Ross. Quick point of order regarding Ross?! Dude isn't the meddler people make him out to be. Issue with Ross is that he simply doesn't care much about success or failure about the Dolphins.

Since Ross became owner of Miami back in 2009, the Dolphins have made the playoffs three times; all three times being bounced out no less. Of the 16 Seasons he has been owner, seven of those have fielded a losing record. Of the eight winning seasons, only three had the Dolphins in the Playoffs. Long story short?! He doesn't give a damn.

Getting back to the story regarding Miami offering up that many picks, that would have been worse even if the Dolphins were to pull that off. If anything, it is fair to say that Joe Burrow may have had to medically retire sooner given how inept Flores was when constructing Game Plans for the Offense. Joe already has little help from his Offensive Line but imagine if Miami drafted him while giving up... literally everything.
