I would say here is the thesis if you are a BELIEVER:

    1. Our team was pieced together. Old QB and some new acquisitions.

    2. It takes time to gel that hastily put together team.

    3. At times, there are glimmers of hope, the offense and defense show potential sporadically.

    4. Then, late in the year, it all comes together, and we become a force to be reckoned with.

This hopeful Kool-Aid is on me, have a glass, LOL.

I start to trust Rodgers and the offense more after the last 2 games but the defense against good offense is still a major concern for me

    2. There are 4 or so posters who don’t believe there is any value in a team gelling or team chemistry otherwise we would not have had 137 pages on George Pickens

I sip the same kool aid on Sunday mornings. Unfortunately this usually leads to me chewing antacids at 4 o'clock.

Along time ago, I would be pessimistic, but after years of seeing teams I'd never could believe would win games in the playoffs, I've changed. Especially after our 2005 run, and Giants in 2007. I know we were underdogs in every playoff game, and I believe the Giants were also.
It's all about coming together at the right time.

The steelers were favorite against the bengals and seahawks in the super bowl in 2005 and slight underdog in Denver...You are right about the 2007 giants. The most shocking super bowl champions I saw.3 major upset against the cowboys, packers and of course the 18-0 Pats

I believe you are incorrect about the Bengals game, but You are correct about the SB, but I was just talking about the playoffs. I'm almost positive I got 3.5 points in the Bengals game, before I stopped betting on the Steelers, except the over/under at the beginning of the season.
Which I will win with one more game won for the 5th season in a row.

Id like to see TJ have a brief resurgence to finish the season. Just one more flash of youth for a playoff push

They were favorite by 3 points in Cincy according to this

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200601080cin.htm

For the over under, since I am on this forum at full time(2022)I was off by one game every year.I predicted a 10-7 season in 2022,11-6 in 2023,9-8 last year and 9-8 this year(we will see later if I will be right or not but the important thing is to win the division!)
