Judon is being released today as well so the list will include the following players that talking heads say the Steelers should look at as:

    Lazard
    Tua
    Judon

Which suggests that they did something different (like they always do), to attack a team, and don't just line up, and do the same things every game, every week.
Some people seem to believe if it doesn't work, they aren't doing different things.
None of this is at you, I was just using your post to make a point.

I think Tua's concussions broke him... though I think he was a bit overrated even while playing well.

And if they do it right, the guy could land on his feet and keep running.

It reminded me of a few throws that he made when the Packers beat us in the SB.

Do you really expect anybody to believe that I wasn't one of the posters, given that I have criticized the team for trading Pickens, and you've been trying to escalate things into a pissing match all night? Come on, Jeh. Don't insult the intelligence of the other posters here.

That said, the comment applies whether you were directing that at me or not. The Steelers have done a good jobof fooling some folks into believing that was a good trade.

Just curious, are you also a skeptic that the players wanted him off the team?

Thats the most telling part and corroborates what Pickens has said. Pickens knew he wasnt going to see a lot of targets in this offense and asked out and Steelers agreed.

Anyone that thinks Pickens would have been a good soldier getting 3 targets a game is on crack.

Anyone who doesn’t realize Pickens would have been a cancer on the team doesn’t understand teamwork or leadership

    Fortunately Omar/Tomlin/Beer Vendors knew better
