Heard Max rename the tush push on MNF to the Steel City Shove. What does Steelers Nation think?

Im not sure Max Starks came up with it but 1st time I heard it in a broadcast was Monday.

 

Should just be Steel City Shove.

Connor Heyward to me is more of a miss than a hit on this play. He just doesn't seem to be able to generate any power up the middle.

 

I didn't even realize I did that lol.

I can't stop laughing after I read this, the whole thing is, I never thought about it till You mentioned it. LoL

 

Should be called Put another player in instead of Rodgers doing nothing.

 

Despite the waste of keeping Rodgers and the way Heyward hesitates, they have actually done okay with it.

 

We could pick some names that are even more Pittsburgh centric.

"The Jagoff Jam"
"The Renegade Ream"

 

Do you really want to see a 42 year old man have to sprint to the sideline, and then sprint back to the huddle for the next play?

I saw on Twitter it's called the 'Spartan' to pay homage to Michigan Stage due to Connor playing there.

 

The snap should go to Calvin Austin and then have Washington pick him up and throw him 20 yards.

 

Reminds me of when William The Refrigerator Perry picked up Walter Peyton and tossed him over the pile into the end zone

Although at least at that time it was not a legal play

 

I wish they would fake it more--- it worked once then we could call it Steel city fake -or fake out or fake shove --why not do the opposite and sometimes do the real thing ....Just an idea BUT are they living in their fears and too afraid ..

 

Interestingly that thought never crossed my mind

I lived in Chicago at the time and to some degree I still root for them
