That's a good place for him. He won't be expected to compete for a national title there. He can bring 8 and 9 win seasons there and he'll be praised for it

 

Anyone that has paid attention to College football in just the last 20 years knows they were going to win a National Championship. They don't recruit good enough, and they do even worse at transfers.
Again when someone can show me a team that wins a National Championship that has recruited in the top 10 at least sometime within that Championship win, I'll stop saying this.

BYU football coach Kalani Sitake is the focus of Penn State's head coaching search, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel on Monday, confirming a report by On3.

The sides have met and there is mutual interest but no deal has been signed and there are still steps that need to happen before one comes together.

The sides have had discussions about staffing and other details of what Sitake's tenure in State College would look like.
