Nothing to lose except the game, Mason didn't play well against the Bears but they still had a chance to tie or win it at the end.

There is only one very good team in the AFC this year IMO and that is the Broncos.

It is worth making the playoffs and taking a shot at going further than expected.

I had just mentioned that the Chiefs weren't dead yet... And you only started talking about this when the Chiefs were 2-3... Maybe it's over for them this year now, but I remember during the Patriots' dominance, when they had some struggle in the Brady era, many said their dynasty was over, especially after 2009 when they lost decisively 33-14 at home in the wide-card round against the Ravens after a weak 10-6 season...

I didn't believe the Patriots would be dominant for another 10 years, so that's why I'm always cautious about things like this since their dominance was only over when Brady was gone.

This year doesn't look good for the chiefs, but maybe it's just a down year for them and they'll be back in the hunt next year... We'll see, but last year they were lucky several times in one-score games, this year this is the opposite...maybe next year it will be in the middle for this stats

One thing is for sure, I'm always going to be careful with this, not to kill them before they're actually dead. I made that mistake with the Pats Dynasty before and I don't want to make that mistake again, that's why I'm being careful about it.

You can stop with your "I told you so" or things like that since I didn't make any predictions about the Chiefs this year... I didn't think they were going to miss the playoffs, but am I an idiot because I was more cautious in that regard?

You don't play a sixth round rookie QB when you have a chance to win the division .

I'm not going to kill his teams before they're dead, but yes, it's very unlikely now... Much more unlikely than 2-3 weeks ago.

If the Bills don't win their division, I'd be very surprised if they are contenders in the playoffs since they're not a good road team, and it's unlikely they'll win their division since their loss to Miami... The Ravens have no chance if Lamar continues to play the way he has since returning from injury, and as for the Chiefs, they would be dangerous if they made the playoffs, but their chances are now very slim.

Even if the other QB is Mason Rudolph?...Remember he was benched for the duck in 2019 in a playoff race....

A lot of us think Browns is going to be a W but I got a bad feeling Garrett gonna eat us for lunch and we lose this game. Browns will see this as their SB.

Of course we win the other 6;)

Hate the Bengals but respect Burrow. If that guy gets tired of the Bengals’ ineptitude in the next couple years, he’s welcomed here

If Pittsburgh was a lot more consistent in terms of how their wins were?! I would be quite happy about yesterday's result. However, that isn't the case. Chief issue is still the $160+ million Defense who is about to tie an NFL Record 30+ points in six games in a Single Season; courtesy of Buffalo.

Who knows?! Pittsburgh is likely to break that record because Detriot is still up. Don't discount Baltimore either for the last time I saw Baltimore against Pittsburgh, Derrick Henry gave Pittsburgh an ass whooping. The Ravens may have had their struggles this year but it pales in comparison to Pittsburgh.

As I see it?! Yesterday's result changes nothing.

I like to play the odds when setting goals and expectations:

    - Chance of winning the SB 0%
    - Chance of winning one playoff game 0.0000001%

So... I am very excited about having a non-zero chance of achieving this season's goal!

Hell, I think Howard should start vs Bills. See what we have before '26 off-season. Steelers are on the road to nowhere with one of the worst defenses in the NFL...and highly inconsistent offense.

how we do down the stretch really depends on two guys

AR and TJ, if they don't show you maybe right; 8-9.

I'll probably get stoned for this but I would take Tomlin. Harbaugh has had the best roster in the NFL for the last several years and hasn't won squat with it. His teams have blown 17 double digit fourth quarter leads in his career, the most of all time. Tomlin has beaten him twice with Kenny Pickett against Lamar Jackson.

Steelers aren't likely to hold the tiebreaker vs the Ravens or Bengals at 9-8, since the division tiebreakers are:

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

If the Steelers finish 9-8, they'll likely beat Miami, @ Clev (maybe) and Balt. They'll likely lose to the Bills, @ Lions, @ Balt
Baltimore to get to 9-8 may win their two home games and @ Cincy - most likely path, losing @ GB and @ Pit

That means the Bengals can't get to 9-8.

The uncommon games between Balt and Pit are Texans/Rams and Colts/Seahawks. Ravens went 0-2, Steelers went 1-1. Take those away and the Ravens are 9-6 in common games, Steelers would be 8-7.

The Steelers would hold tiebreaker #4, but lose #3

For the Bengals to get to 9-8, they wind up 5-1 in the division and win tiebreaker #2.

Steelers only likely to get the division at 9-8, if Ravens lose their 3 road games to wind up 8-9 and Bengals lose to someone other than Ravens (most likely @ Buffalo). Steelers would need to beat Ravens, Miami and @ Cleveland

If Burrow could have come back just a couple of weeks earlier the Bengals would have been in good shape to win the division. Right now though Draftkings still have the Ravens the favorite in the AFC North.

The Steelers really gave away a few games that will wind up biting them in the end.
