I've dug Oldman in almost everything he's done.

 

Then, I'll have to go to confession every week! She looked okay on Heroes. Now, to me, she just looks like a scarecrow.

She's way too skinny is what I'm saying. Not looking for a Kardashian but, don't want an Ariana Grande either!

 

They're both nice to look at but their story lines bring the show down IMO.

 

Just finished an 8 part Netflix series called The Beast In Me" with Claire Danes. Quite good with lots of twists and mystery and mob-like involvement. While straight, married with 3 children in real life, she plays a very plain haggardly middle aged lesbian best selling author. She carries it off very well (not that there's anything wrong with that). Overall, very well done. Oh yeah, our good buddy Mike (Jonathon Banks) from Breaking Bad/Saul has a good menacing role.

 

Hasn't she played a lesbian in a role before this??

 

Very possible. I hadn't seen her in a movie since Oliver Stone's "U Turn" (great flick) in the 90's with Sean Penn, Billy Bob, Joaquin Phoenix, J-Lo, Nolte etc. But in this new limited series she definitely looked and played the part to a T. I had to look up her profile to see her persuasion which is certainly not the character she played. Again, actors act and job well done.

 

She played a bipolar cia agent in Homeland

 

I'm watching The Waterfront it's better than I expected it to be.

Finally circled back to Welcome to Derry. About 1.5 episodes in and its pretty good
