We still missed some that I can remember. But we actually got turnovers this time... and got some more pressure.

 

Didn’t the defense score twice in the second half?

 

I can’t remember if it was 16 or 24 missed tackles in the first game. I don’t remember a game where they put up a worse performance

Additionally at the time there was no film on Flacco with the bengals. Some here will say, BUT HE PLAYED FOR THE RAVENS FOR YEARS!. While that’s true has any Steeler other than cam played against Flacco with the ravens? How many have played him vs the bengals? Against the Bengals did we see any of his patented ravens throw deep and hope for a PI penalty?

I was trying to get people then to realize if a team actually knew everything we did, they would not tell us, and if we never changed, we would not ever beat them. You will win no games in the NFL if everyone knows exactly what You do, and You never change. We didn't play them the same way last year as we played them this year, or the way we played them this last game game. Yet most can't see it.

I seen a few things we did differently today on certain ways that the Bengals attacked us last time. I can't wait to watch again to make sure on all of it. One thing for sure, We stopped as much man when they where running natural rub plays.

So much involved in winning and losing games. Tackling, executing etc etc yes a lot of our opponents state that nothing seems to change with our defense.
But, if we execute, tackle we win. But, if we lose, you know it’s going to be said, nothing changes.
Edelman stated on his podcast that every time they played the Steelers they didn’t change anything. I’m not a football player so how true of what he said, I don’t know.
This just a message board, agreeing and disagreeing and debating is all going to happen. We all get frustrated at one point or another, but I don’t try and talk down to people. If I do I apologize.
