I dunno man. They both should be more mobile than A-A-ron and hopefully not afraid of getting hit. AR is a shell of his former self.

    I already did.

I disagree with the " he is not remotely " ready comment. Please explain how you came to that conclusion? And no charge for me again to read replies, please.

We are a plain vanilla offense. I do not see any no huddles, multiple wr sets on 1st or 2nd down, many past the marker throws on 1st or 2nd down, or QB Runs.

I think its because McCarthy has the prototypical size for a QB. No idea if true but Howard looks to be a bit smaller.

I do agree though, McCarthy didn’t impress at Michigan when I watched him.

Howard is the bigger QB. Height and weight. I'm hoping he's gonna be a great one.

    Will is bigger

That Michigan class (as of now) has fooled a lot of teams.
    GLAD WE DIDN'T FALL FOR....

There is a rumor that Howard was brought back to perform mop up duty in the 4th quarter after the team already put the game away by the 3rd. Give him some playing time and to work out the kinks.

It's very difficult to remember the last time Steelers put a game away. My last recollection was the pre-Friermuth-era, Steelers TE Vance McDonald/WR Antonio Brown beatdown game of the Panthers secondary in 2018. Ben played a role in that beatdown of the Panthers, too.

Yes, but what we have in Mason would be dramatically worse than what we had in Rodgers for the first 8 games.... I get it. Rodgers played awful in LA. Even Ben had dogsh*t games. It happens. You can't just bench the guy who has been largely pretty good all season for someone just because he played a bad one. If Rodgers strings 2-3 of them together, then sure, we can start thinking about it...

There should really be no scenario this season where Mason plays football for us. If Rodgers is out, we gotta see what we have in Howard. Play the kid instead. I don't want to see Mason playing ball this year.

It's really hard in today's NFL to put games away early. Just a couple of years ago the Chargers blew a 27 point halftime lead in the playoffs to the Jags. This year the Broncos were losing 30-6 in the fourth quarter and came back and won. Harbaugh and the Ravens have routinely blown double digit fourth quarter leads including a 38-20 lead with a few minutes to go the Bills.

    Heard similar
Only it was Mason for the 3rd and Will the 4th then alternate each week.
