Well, it will boil down to what it always does with this team... if our DL beats the Chargers OL, then we will get a lot of pressure and the Chargers will struggle/turn it over. If our DL somehow gets stymied and Herbert has all day, then we will give up 30 points and will have to win this one offensively.

Its just the way it goes around here in the Burgh

They didn't move TJ around and yet he was a disruptive force in the game. I don't know what to believe anymore

You are not either understanding what I'm saying, or I'm not expressing it correctly.
Let's try again. I will not be anymore happy if we win just one playoff game than I will be if we lose one playoff game. I will not give up a better draft pick for one playoff win.
For the final time I will explain how I feel, and I'm not asking anyone else to feel this way, it just how I feel.
You win enough games in the regular season to make the playoffs, I consider it a success . If You don't, I consider it a failure. Same with the playoffs. You win enough playoff games to make the SB, I consider it a success, you don't, I consider it a failure. Nothing more nothing less.

To be clear if we get beat by 30 in the WC game or on a last second FG in the SB you walk away feeling the same about our season in both scenarios?

Its the way of the modern NFL really... we just seem to be an "extreme" case of it.

See .....people, if You are going to comment, please read what I wrote.
If we make the SB , I will be ecstatic. Only one team can win in the SB, but at least You actually made it. I've said hundreds of times....win enough games to make the playoffs, and win enough game to make the SB. I never once said you must win the SB.
Also to note. I have never cared how we get beat if we get beat. Losses by 30, or by 1 are still a loss, and you still go home. That maybe great for the Fantasy fans, but it's still a loss to me.

Cowherd has picked Steelers to upset the Chargers. I disagree. Says crowd will be 70% Steelers fans, 30% Chargers fans. I agree with that.

OK so losing in the SB is ok let me rephrase this

To be clear if we get beat by 30 in the WC game or on a last second FG in the AFC Championship Game you walk away feeling the same about our season in both scenarios?

Honestly. I rather have lost the 1st playoff game if we aren't going to make the SB, and points again in the playoffs mean nothing to me a win by 50 , or by 1 is a win, and advance, and a loss by 50, or by 1 is still a loss, and you are going home.
I'm not asking anyone else to feel that way, but that's just how I feel.

I actually loved that this was brought back up. Some people don't want light shone on things they said then.

I saw comments about Watt switching sides in the Colts game. Any truth to this?

Sorry, but I don't remember Watt switching sides at all in the game.

LoL. We have changed a lot this year, and every year. Hell we changed from the Packers game to the Colts game. Stop listening to this bull$hit.
Even after all that still Rex Ryan got on ESPN, and said , I don't know how the Colts did bad, the Steelers never changed anything from the last game. Proof that Rex Ryan never watched the game. Because there is no way He being a Defense guy saw how we attacked things from the Packers, and from the Colts, and thought we didn't change anything. Unless he's freaking retarded , might explain why Tomlin usually beat him......, but this is why I have a hard time listening to what the talking heads say. Anyone with a tiny bit of understanding seen how we schemed, and attacked the Packers, and the Colts were different.

Don't you want to feel good during the week after winning the first play off game?

The chances of Steelers winning the SB is pretty much 0 this year. Do you rather have them win playoff games or lose play off games knowing they won't win the SB?
I think I get what you're saying, but I can't relate to it. I will feel very happy during the week after a playoff win. That feeling is why I watch games. I prefer to have more of those "good feeling" weeks than less of them.

It's a GREAT feeling knowing there's at least one more playoff game coming -- I envy the fans of teams that make deep playoff runs.

I used to laugh at Browns fans at work who never made deep playoff runs...

I will also never want the Steelers to lose games to get better draft picks. Be it playoff games or regular season games. Being happy they lost cause they got a better draft pick seems like an SDOT type of feeling.

He attacked the middle a few times. I don't know what people's infatuation is with this anyway. It's not hard to reset the line , and call out protection to wherever he lines up. He's going to get the bulk of the the attention wherever he lines up. The job is for the guys not receiving that extra attention, to make them stop putting so much at Watt. If they keep winning their one on one's, they will do this

Still nobody is actually reading, or understanding, or wanting to understand, or I'm expressing it incorrectly. I don't want to lose game to get a better draft pick, but I don't want to win just one playoff game , and that's all , and lose a better draft pick over one single freaking game. Some of You hold a single playoff win like it's a magic success. LoL. I can tell by the people that say ....well Ravens, Bills, Lions, Packers, and so on have won more playoff games than we have in the last years. Yeah, and most of them are one single win a year. Hell the AFC Championship that people like to say the Ravens made was off of one win, and then they lost. So freaking what.
Again, if we only win one playoff game, I will not be happy, and I never have been.

“It just doesn’t feel right. It feels like I’m writing with my left hand,” Watt said of playing on the right side. “The bend isn’t the same. I just have so much muscle memory on the left side and it feels so natural. It just comes to me. When I’m on the right, it’s like I’m working against my body.”
