I hate Joe Flacco

    I like Joe Flacco. I met him at a bar after the game and we chatted about his come back. He is actually a pretty decent dude. He was perplexed as the rest of us of why he was let go from Cleveland but his attitude is pretty upbeat and he is just happy to play. He did say he knew our defense quite well and he spends alot of time looking at tape.

    Why, He has 2 years and $160 million left on his contract for 2025 and 2026. 2025 Deadcap space of $167 million means they can't release him, and next year his dead cap only falls to $131 million.

    Right now their starter Dillon Gabrielle is not hitting it out of the ballpark, so I would at least give Watson some playing time because you are going to be paying him for the next 2 years anyway. I fully believe that as long as Kevin Stefanski is there the Browns will not turn to Shedeur Sanders; hell, a week ago Stefanski was trying to figure out how their Practice Squad QB Bailey Zappe could be the backup QB at the Steelers game.

    I think come November; Watson will give Kevin Stefanski another workaround for a reason not to play Shedeur Sanders.



    EDIT: I just read that Bailey Zappe has just been named as the backup QB for Sunday's game. :lollmao:

    Now that I got that out of the way, thats pretty cool. He seems like a down to earth guy.

    I would not be surprise if Tomlin will want Flacco as his starting QB in 2026.....
