    The most optimism I can generate for this game is:

    1) It’s a Sunday Night Game which I believe they have a very good record with
    2) Bounce back game after a dreadful performance

    That’s all I got.

    If the defensive front 7 has any pride, they will man up and win enough of their matchups to allow us to squeak out a win. That’s what I’m basing my tight win prediction on.

    Right now the Steelers are giving up 375 yards a game which is the 5th worst in the NFL. We still have to face the Packers, Colts, Chargers, Bills, the Ravens twice and Joe Flacco again.

    Welp, Tomlin said this defense will be historic.... just not the way you thought :roflmao:

    Anyway, defensive ranks faced by GB and PIT:

    GB: 12th, 21st, 13th, 30th, 31st, 15th - so they stacked a bunch of wins against bad defenses
    PIT: 26th, 6th, 5th, 10th, 13th, 31st - losses against one tough defense and one division opp

    Only hope is the team wants to go all in and win won for Rodgers against his old team...

    Otherwise, this might be the first really good offense we face this year if you can believe it. There is a possibility it could get ugly.

    And looky here, the Steelers face another QB that loves the middle of the field. Love is 7th in middle of the field passing in 10-20 yd range, completing 66%, averaging 11 yds/rec.

    If the Steelers think they can used Wilson to cover their receivers in that range they are in for a rude awakening.

    What's more important: The way they "look"? Or scoring more points? I'll take the latter any day. No team has ever been crowned champion on style points. But..... I know what the OP means. :steelflag:
