Imagine if somehow our first playoff game is against the Browns, and Bengals cut Flacco on Thursday of that week, and Browns pick him on Friday of that week and Flacco destroys us again the day after in an early Saturday game?

That would be pretty freaking epic.

Go wash your Magic Mike blanket.
You are too much with the slobbering over Tomlin.
    Excuses excuses excuses
Comparing the Steelers to KC and Buffalo. Really?
Dude, at first I thought everything you wrote was just sarcastic, but you are truly a Tomlin worshipper.

I would take a 0-17 record if thats what it takes to get rid of the coach we got now.

Mike Shanahan Broncos did a good job against Belichick's Patriots.

The defense was supposed to be the strength of this team. They kept talking about how the offseason moves were designed to deal with Burrow & Co. And yet Burrow didn't even play.

Highly disappointing that the Steelers lost because of that supposed 'strength'.

The reason Tomlin has never won on Thursday nights is because a short week requires intense, concentrated, insightful game planning and coaching.

I agree. It was the 142 rushing yards that killed us. The Bengals had 20 more offensive snaps due to our defense couldn't get off the field. Chase and Higgins are bad matchups for most everyone already. Add in not stopping the run and we doomed ourselves.

Another way to look cat it is, why does the league keep scheduling them to be the road team against Divisional opponents on a short week?

These are all good points. As dynamic as Burrow and Bengals can be on offense. They struggle against the Browns defense each and every time. We will get the Bengals in our place next time. They still needed a score in the final 2 minutes with our defense playing that poorly.

All that shows is what kinda of person you are.
I personally wouldn't take a 0 -17 for anything. You sound like You run the Jets on your spare time.

Just once use your brain. I know it's hard.
Do You ever have any insightful thoughts that do not pertain to.....fire the coaches???
Just once can You talk about the game , and what is going on, or is it that you actually don't know what You look at, and so you are like a child, and only say the same things over, and over??
No matter what the discussion is, your answer, fire the coaches. I swear You must run the Jets.
    Here is talking to you...example.....
Hey what do You think is causing the grass to be so bad on the field???
You : I think we should fire the coaches.
Hey do you think that was a bad call on PI....You : I think we should fire the coaches.
But we were talking about that PI call.....You: You are just a Tomlin lover , and making excuses. LoL
That is the total extent of Your football knowledge. Fire the coaches.

LoL. Browns have not the weapons for that anymore. Flacco would be just like he was earlier this year there.
Nobody can compare today's Browns weapons to Bengals weapons. It's not even close

You can do that with almost every team.
In the History of the NFL, it's only a play here , and there that changes everything. That's how You have a team like the Falcons that got blown out 30- 0 by the Panthers turn around , and beat the media's favorite darlings the Bill two weeks later.

That is another great example. It always been about matchups. You just try like hell to make Your team be able to beat as many matchups as You can, and hope things line up right.

I don't know who those people are. I find fault that on Thursday night away we can't win, but I done make a one game destroy the season. If this was the last game of the year, and we need it to make the playoffs. Yes, I would be very upset, but it's not. I'm not going to tear my hair, and beat my chest over a loss, and we haven't even played half the season yet. Especially when I , in my own mind, thought we would go 11-6, and we are now 4-2.
