That is all the stupid Browns just had to help the Bengals out, if the Steelers faced Jake Browning this game would've been an easy win.

The fact that we are worried about a washed up 40 year old QB bouncing around the NFL is telling about how big a pretender we are yet again.

I hate Flacco for sure, and I was hoping Troy would show up somehow and get an INT again.

But I doubt Steelers would have won even if Browning was playing. Bengals running was working as well.

I know... the guy can't hold a starting job *anywhere* and somehow Tomlin publicly says he's scared of him, and then we go ahead and lose like bitches.... amazingly sad.

No it only shows its a bad match up. Nothing more Nothing less. Did the Bills losing to the Falcons who got shut out 30-0 by the Panthers mean that the Bills are pretenders??
Did the Patriots losing to the Raiders mean that they are pretenders??

Washed up? Sure was more accurate than our 41 year old QB last night. Face it, Whacko Flacco can still play.

He just took the Browns to a freaking play off game. The Browns.
You people make too much a big deal out of one game. Some are the same people that's said....wow Fields , and the Jets will be good this year after one game.
Did You actually think we would go 16-1?

If that’s what you honestly believe based on the last Decade of Steelers football. God Bless you

The Bills will rebound they have a great QB and have actually won playoff games recently. The Pats are up and coming but I would say more of a pretender like us.

Yes thus why he has now played with Indy Cleveland and Cincy in the last 12 months. A real stud!

You know, I never realized that Flacco has such super powers using his "style". It's like he goes into a phone booth before the game, changes his clothes into a a super stylish uniform (logo/team doesn't matter) and then comes and destroys the Steelers.

He beat us. Even RAN for a first down. Hate him all you want but, he still knows how to play.

    You dont believe in styles.
Tell me why Belichick had so many problems beating Cam Newton, yet we beat him all the time, and yet we had trouble with Belichick??
    You think it's magic???

Of course it's not magic. Magic is for children. It's super powers, and Brown's GMs giving away their pile of kryptonite to Bengals. :)

Let me give You another example. Back in my amateur Kickboxing days. I happen to fight a guy twice. He was the only opponent I ever faced twice. I knocked him out the 1st time in 25 - 30 seconds of the 1st round, and beat him by points in the second fight. Yet He beat , every guy I lost to. My strengths were his weaknesses, and his strengths were my other opponents weaknesses, or it was magic. You decide. LoL

Flacco is an amazing story....and he seems to be having a lot of fun. Now when he was with the Ravens couldn't stand the guy - but now, have no issue with him.

‘this is where I have a problem: bengals run O sucked, OL gave up tons of pressure, Steeler D was on a roll sacking and manhandling OLs. Somehow, adding Flacco caused the bengals OL to dominate the run game and the Steelers D to fall apart so much they barely got any pressure.

For me, it’s hard to fathom how changing one single player out of 11 can so drastically destroy the other teams entire D.

now, had Flacco did a Tim cruise like parachute entrance during the national anthem, it would be easier to believe he’s that powerful.

Flacco doesn’t bother me near as much as Mike Tomlin does. The guy can’t game plan for a specific opponent even if his life depended on it.

It's pretty easy , and a simple answer. All struggling Qb give up lots of pressure, and Jake Browning was struggling badly, and all running games get help when the D actually has to worry about the passing game. While Browning was playing, most Defense didn't have to worry as much about the passing, and also once you get far enough ahead , the other team can't run the ball as much.
One more thing. There is a reason that throughout the History of the Pittsburgh Steelers, we haven't had four games in a row with 5 , or more sacks. That's why I was saying if we did last night , it would be historical. It's hard to do.
Don't let a loss worry you so much. Lots of season to go.

Like Rodgers, he can still hoist the ball and he’s always had a big arm. What’s helped us against him in the past is in between those long bombs that also generate PI calls he’ll throw that devastating INT too. Sadly, that didn’t happen last night. Hopefully, next time we meet he does. I wouldn’t say he has our number but he certainly has our area code and can still throw.

Only the Browns thought he was washed. CIN didn't. PIT didn't.

Steelers have to play the Bengals and Bears after murderer's row in Packers, Colts and Chargers. Steelers could easily go 0-5 during that stretch. The defense has only shown up for 2 games this year against Vikings and Browns.

We have to play Flacco again, unfortunately.

As much as I want to hate on the Browns for trading Flacco to the Bengals, and it was an incredibly stupid dickhead thing to do but the Steeles still have to take care of business and they didnt come close. Cincy passed all over them and ran all over them.

Just a terrible game all around coaches and players.

Browning got benched because he was throwing too many interceptions and couldn't get the ball enough to Chase and Higgins.
