Yeah, the Steelers knew what they were doing when they didn't bring Wilson back.

And yet our coaching got something out of him.
With us Wilson:18 tds , and 5 ints.
With the Giants Wilson: 3tds, and 3ints
    Yet the Steelers can't coach.

We're better than the giants! yay!!! What I always dreamt of as a young steeler fan was to be able to boast about having better coaches than the giants! Beers all around!!

Would've been nice if some of that coaching showed up somewhere over his final five starts.

I guess you forgot that many, many ,many on here said Brian Daboll was a genius offense mind, and we needed a HC like that. Now they all are very quiet about it.
All I can tell you is the 2 Qbs that took us to 10-7 last year, and to the playoffs are now off the team, and have a combined record of 0 -7 .

    Yeah I agree, but....
Like I said above. The two Qbs that took us to a playoff game, and a 10 -7 record, are now a combination of 0 -7 as of today since leaving this coaching staff.

I'd take Daboll, Shanahan, McVey, Steichen, etc... anyday over 20th Century Popcorn.

The league figured Wilson out by the end of the season he relied too much on the moon ball.

    Did you see the pass?
A 8 yr old girl could’ve thrown it better than Russ, with her non dominant arm!

Seattle figured him out years ago
Denver still trying to put a square block in a round hole
Steelers got him on a blue light special from Kmart

The nail in his coffin was when he threw the ball away on 4th and goal

    Who's fault is that???
    You think it's magic?
    They don't draft?
They don't spend money on free agency??
    They don't hire coaches??
You can't have double standards. Use Your brain. If none of that matters, and it's just magic of the teams, then why change coaching, or anything???
    LoL

But when he was younger he could scramble around and make plays, now he holds the ball too long and taking sacks.

I'm watching the Jets game... and I'm proud to say the Jets coaching staff is pure garbage with Fields!

OMG! relatively speaking, Jets' coaches are like donkeys compared to Steelers.

Watching Fields now. He is using that strategy too. It is either a hand off, or hold the ball until he gets sacked.

Amazing thing is that Fields just stood there until he got sacked. Coaches must have told him to not run. hahahah

Sad part is that they had a 4-1 near midfield in the 4th, and the Jets loser coach decided to punt... Denver then drove for the win.

Honestly kinda sad to see Russ booed like that. He probably should have retired in the offseason but the guy has had a great career, he won a SB, never had any unsavoury off field stuff and is a former Walter Payton Man of the Year. I don’t think he deserves that.
