I feel that Benton isn’t the only one on defense trying to make a play rather than letting technique make the play, as Hoke says.

 

maybe they are playing them all out of position a little. rotate and stay fresh.

 

We have seen enough of Benton's struggles let's get Ekuale more snaps.

 

Last November I had a chance to sit with Chris Hoke and talk a while (about land development not football)

He is a very nice person

 

Comes back to fundamentals. Just like the OL. These players need relentlessly drilled on the fine points, e.g. hand placement, footwork, knee bend, etc. You see them repeatedly making the same mistakes. I fear if they don't do it on their own time in the offseason with a trainer there just isn't enough time spent on it when the team is together because they are trying to learn playcalls.

 

Isn't he a Mormon, I don't care ,but I've never talked to a Mormon, well not a Mormon guy.

 

Don't forget the NFL rules on practice now either.

 

Yep: 11, 3/6, and 1 for pads.

11 padded practices allowed over the first 11 weeks of the season, three over the next six weeks, and one per week for playoff teams.

I have had two Mormon friends over the years

One was devout and very religious

The other when away from home was a derelict with me (he was an ironworker and traveled to our sites)

He and his wife came to our wedging and as a gift she gave us a bible clock it looked very nice in my garage

 

I've never talked to a Mormon guy. I've talked to a lot of the females. They used to come every other week to my place where I used to live to talk to me , until one of my ex old ladies came by one week , while we were talking, and threw them out.
