You must be younger. Most old people have half their day done by 10 AM.

 

You just reminded me of my grandma. When we'd visit, she'd make sure we were all up by 0600 saying, "C'mon, half the day's gone already!"

 

That is just my favorite activity to do on the weekends.... SLEEP IN!

No idea what waits for me in retirement when there are no more weekends.

 

Every day's the weekend! At times you can't remember when everyone else's weekend is. I'm a working retiree but at times I can't distinguish weekends and many Holidays since I work when I want to or feel like it for the most part.

 

Holding on for dear life (sort of).

 

Speaking for me once retired you get up when you feel like it

Although mostly I get up when my dogs tell me to

 

In the 70s we had a priest who would blow through 12:30 Mass and be done by 1:00 on game days.

 

It's 9:30 here but hey if you lads are watching at 6:30 please let me know how they did and if its worth watching

 

Keep in mind the Minnesota fans are another hour earlier

 

I used to be like that. In my college years, I would sleep until 12-1pm on the weekends. It's impossible for me to sleep past 8am these days.

 

how does that work. Do the vikings do their bit and then an hour later the Steelers come out

An hour earlier than who? Pittsburgh? The game will be televised at 9:30 a.m. local time in Pittsburgh, while the fans in Minnesota will have the game at 8: 30am local time. It would really suck if you were on the West Coast. For the West coasters, the game is at 6:30 a.m. local time

 

Brice when you retire try to accomplish one thing every day

If you get it done by 10 am you can do a second thing

But it’s not required

 

Preach it Jeh. Now that I am retired I do what I want when I want and of course when the wife lets me

 

I love listening to John Facenda on those old NFL Films.

 

My money right now says I will sleep in and watch this game around noon on NFL+.
