    Anything is possible.

The defense may be better in the next few weeks, as may the o-line, but it'll be temporary since our second half of the season is going to be tough.

    So, 3-3 or 4-2.

We are weak if a starter goes down. 3-3 but I could see 2-4.

After watching this defense the first two weeks, I’ll be pleasantly surprised if they win another game by week 7.

The current forecast is "Rough Sledding"
Not as dismal as the Carolina Panthers though.

This was a massive step backwards.
At week 1, it kind of looked like the Defense had a poor day possibly but the offense could overcome it.
But week 2 displayed that our o-line is horrific along with the Defense.
A wake-up is possible, but the results are telling another story.

1-6 if this Defensive performance continues.

3-4 otherwise. That isn't even my biggest question.

Biggest one I have?! Will Aaron Rodgers survive by then?! Something tells me he won't.

I hope AR8 survives the whole season... but if he doesn't, it will be a good time to throw Howard to the wolves and see what he's got before the '26 draft. Steelers won't be winning much either way, unfortunately.

Agree. The fact that our defense is buttercream soft and our O-Line doesn't block well makes every game losable. Rodgers might be making snippy press comments from a hospital hooked to an IV bag by week seven.

The defense is not easily fixable either if these highly priced, talented vets are washed. Ooof. That means a teardown and rebuild pf the defense, lots of early October draft talk the next couple of years.

    .... @HeinzMustard@HeinzMustard...

You and I both know damn well Tomlin isn't going to throw Will out there... at all. Mason is likely going to be next man up. When that happens?! Seasons over in all likelihood.

As I said before and will again. Unless Will Howard is secretly being groomed as the next one, Pittsburgh is gunning for a First Round QB. There is no other way around it.

John Mateer, Drew Allar and LaNorris Sellers (though I anticipate him returning for 2026) are the hot ticket QBs for the team. Taylen Green from Arkansas is still my Wild Card for the 2026 QB Class. Nussimeier, Klubnik and Manning all either are not it or are too inconsistent as it stands.

Have you predicted right yet this year??
Didn't you predicted a loss vs the Jets, and a win vs Seattle??? So that would be two in a row wrong???
    Or I'm I mistaken??

You and I both know what we have in Rudolph. I'm not a Rudolph hater. I think he's an adequate #2 QB. But it would be stupid not to start Howard if the season goes south by mid October, just to see what we have.

I regret not picking Seahawks to win. I thought travelling 2,000 miles to the east would give Seahawks jet lag or something... and they would be flat like Steelers are 95% of time when they travel to the Pacific time zone.

Kenny Pickett of all QBs broke the Steelers' west coast curse by defeating the Raiders. First time Steelers beat the Raiders out west since Neil O'Donnell did it in 1995!

We still have a chance at that game If Austin doesn't interfere with a td pass, and make it a int, and if KJ doesn't forget how the freaking rules.

Who says I disagree?! I agree with you 100%. Here in lies the problem.

This isn't something Tomlin is willing to do. Never mind that, I don't believe Howard was game day active against Seattle either. That tells us both what Tomlin thinks of Will Howard at the moment.

At least 4-2, maybe even 5-1. Yeah we're not a good team but our next 4 QB's are Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, Joe Flacco and Jake Browning.

Almost 90% of NFL games come down to a if if if.

Seahawks were gonna win that game regardless. Steelers defense couldn't stop the run or pass on 3rd down. The OL couldn't pass protect on 3rd down. If there were no 3rd downs.... Steelers could have possibly won.
