There's no way he's coming out looking like this, he needs two seasons minimum.

It's really surprising, his motion isn't what we've seen from him ever and he's missing badly and obviously grimacing.
He's got enough family that played the position to really shut him down if he's hurting, but they're not? You'd think they'd have long term injury protection on their minds?

Almost every year, Clemson, Notre Dame, (ducking) Penn State and a few others are ranked too high. People just can't let go of the past. Yes, those teams are good, but they rarely beat elite schools, especially ND and PSU. Does anyone trust those three coaches in a big game? James Franklin never met a spotlight he couldn't fold in.

Right now the kid from Arkansas looks like the best QB in the country.

We had the game in hand with 1:53 seconds on the clock, and about 38 yards for the TD, and our Wr fumbles the freaking ball away. I was like......You have got to be kidding me.

Penn State are the San Diego (never be LA in my mind) Chargers of College Football.

Believe me, I'm freaking sick about it. That Wrs was crying on the sidelines, he knew he cost the game.

    Man...

Regardless though, Taylen Green did place himself firmly into the discussion for First Round QBs. Dude has been an animal. I remember being excited about him since his days at Boise State. For that matter, @mac daddyo@mac daddyo was a fan of his as well at the time. Dunno if he feels the same way about Green but I have been impressed with Green for a while now.

As I said in the Bill Nunn Draft Section of the website, Taylen Green has been my wildcard among First Round QB Options for Pittsburgh since the 2024 CFB Season. September 27th will be very telling for certain as Arkansas visits Notre Dame. Pittsburgh scouts often head to Notre Dame games and, considering that the Steelers need a QB, no way in hell they will ignore Taylen.

Add LaNorris to the list as well. He is now out with a Concussion. That said though, I was under the belief that, unless he tears up the SEC, Sellers would be returning to South Carolina. Given how shaky his play has been, him declaring now for 2026 would potentially capsize his Football Career.

I also wouldn't rule out Drew Allar for a 5th Senior Season either. He has been underwhelming sans some NFL Caliber throws.

It makes no sense for Allar to return in 2026; he returned this season because they have a bunch of guys returning this year to try and win a championship.

Allar sure as hell isn't getting drafted in Round One at this rate should this continue. Couldn't do diddly poo against Villanova. Oregon isn't Villanova.

For Penn State to get to the CFB and win it?! Oregon is a team they need to beat. Given what Allar showcased against a team that isn't on Oregon's level, I'd say that the concern level should be relatively high.

This is where these guys need an honest assessment outside of their agent. They can hone the skills and still make decent cash, leaving to quickly might certainly get them in the 1st round, but without a QB genius to guide and help develop many of these guys will never see their true potential.

Or we could wait and see how the season plays out he's going in the first round, teams are desperate for QBs and he's one of the better prospects.

    My point.

I didn't say it was over. I said he has been disappointing. I didn't say he was finished.

    Yep.

False sense of confidence can derail NFL hopefuls. I still very much believe in Drew Allar but his first two games have been..... shaky... to say the least. Oregon is going to be much, much tougher than the previous two matchups. Drew has to lock in.

There is a zero percent chance that he turns pro next year.
