    My fear as well.


    Last time in the rumor mill was that Weidl likes working for the Steelers and the pay is good. Mind you though that was in 2023; two years ago when those rumors surfaced. Who knows if Andy's mood has changed.


    In those rumors though there is one silver lining; the report stated that the FO does listen to him. How much though is what is not mentioned. I am with you though Blast.


    Hope they can lock up Weidl long term.

    Someone will hire him away as a GM before long. Only chance is if he likes where he is and doesn’t have aspirations of being a GM.

    Maybe being 1A is enough for him but wouldn’t count on that.

    This was after Moreno chased a fly ball and started tracking it from center field and caught it in foul territory after having passed the left fielder
