Bradshaw beat Stabler in the playoffs like 4 times and beat Staubach in the Super Bowl twice so easy choice then.

Best big game Qb. His total stats are nothing that remarkable but his overall postseason performances? Non-one was better

Joe Namath. Guy had swagger going against the mighty Colts.

Actually I picked him for those hot chicks he chased around.

Can you imagine Joe Namath with one of these $450,000,000 contracts that players are getting now? He would have been Hugh Hefner X 10.

I know this thread is about QB's who wore #12 and Bradshaw was the best of them. But the greatest Superbowl QB of all time was Joe Montana, 4-0, 11 TD's and zero picks.

Out of those 4, Bradshaw is the easiest pick.
Surprised someone didn't add Marino. LoL
Sorry, sometimes I can't help myself.

Marino would probably be dead by now if he didn’t get out of Pittsburgh. It was well known that he had a cocaine problem in college and when he was selected by Miami I thought for sure it would be a disaster but he went down there and met his wife to be and she straightened him right out. I wish the Steelers would have selected him and our team would probably have won two more SB’s but maybe it was fate that took him elsewhere.

Unless the Steelers had hard evidence of Marino doing cocaine they should've still drafted him, hometown guy with that talent would've been worth the risk.

I also don't think Hurts would be the best QB ever for the Lions,Giants,Bengals, titans, seahawks, chargers, etc

I understand that it was very strong knowledge from credible sources. Not sure if there was hard evidence or not. I really wish they would have drafted him though but for Dans part it was probably best that he got out of Pittsburgh. There was a lot of cocaine in the burgh during the early 80’s.

There were direct connections from Miami to Pittsburgh dealing with that stuff. The movie Goodfellas was based on just that.

Maybe it wasn’t a problem just yet but he was known to be doing it and that is pretty much why the Steelers skipped him over. I’m not trying to move goal posts here just this is what I have heard since about 1982. I cannot prove anything nor can anyone else. It wasn’t the age of social media.
