I don't know about the pats or chiefs but when the steelers had been in the super bowl 3 times from 2005 to 2010 their bye week was...

    2005:week 4
    2008:week 6
    2010:week 5

Steelers had a week 2 bye in 2001 after 9/11 and after a bad loss to JAX. Ended up 13-3 with #1 seed and AFC Championship. So yeah, early bye weeks don't mean much.

Look at the Cowboys last 7 weeks -Eagles, Chiefs (on 3 days rest after playing Eagles), @ Lions, Vikings, Chargers, @ Commanders, then an easier one, @ Giants.

When did the NFC North become the NFC East of the 80s ? The Steelers beat the Packers the last time they played, and JJ McCarthy hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL you guys are clowns putting that division on a pedestal.

The packers were 3-6 the last time they face us...Much better team now.I think our best chance are against the vikings but they will have a huge coaching advantage in both side of the ball and they have maybe the best WR duo in the NFL....It was also a 14-3 team last year(I don't expect it will be the same this year but still a very good team). All 4 games will be a major challenge, unless the bears stay around the same

Jordan Love was pretty much a rookie.

Also... rookie QBs tend to put up good numbers against the Steelers, post-Lebeau. See CJ Stroud in '23.

    NFCN:
Lions: I think they'll take a step back due to the coaching losses. Will be a tough game nonetheless. Tossup

Bears: should be much improved and considering the schedule placement, it's going to be a tough game. Leaning Loss

Packers: Going to be a tough game. Leaning loss

Vikings: JJ is unproven and might as well be a rookie. They got a solid supporting cast. Tossup/Leaning loss.

    AFCE:

    Jets: win

Patriots: should be an improved team with better QB play by Maye as he grows. Not sure if they improve enough to be competitive. Leaning win

Dolphins: MNF game in December at home. Leaning Win

Bills: don't like our chances. Loss

Division: Bengals will obviously be improved, Browns stink and the Ravens obliterated us twice last year. That Ravens game at Week 18 is interesting as the Ravens could have things locked up and are resting starters.

    Ravens: 1-1
    Bengals: 0-2
    Browns: 2-0

    Sea: W
    LAC: L
    Colts: W

Thinking 9-8. But there's pathways towards 10 or 11 wins but this season can definitely fall apart during that brutal stretch from Week 7 through Week 14. They have to start 4-1 the first 5 games of the season. But teams will face injuries and other things along the way. So predicting each individual game is a bit unrealistic at this stage. They'll beat a team or two that they shouldn't and lose to a few teams they shouldn't.

    Floor: 6 wins
    Ceiling 10 wins
    Realistic 9 wins

I cringed when I saw back half of schedule. I try to remind myself that a lot can change before those games and I hope it favors us.
