    Why would Pickens want to sign now? If he has a good season he will get paid.

    Playing out his contract is a smart move

    Once Omar knew he couldn’t extend him then he moved to trading him and got a good trade

    It’s pretty simple to follow the dots

    Some posters want to ignore the obvious and go for the fantasy conspiracy

    Does Pickens want to make $3 million or $30 million this year?

    The only way there is no guaranteed money in the future for Pickens would be to not sign a contract. I watched a video that said Pickens is going to be demanding a new contract at the Cowboys bye week in Week 7. Show what he can do with the Cowboys in the first 6 weeks and then sign a new contract.

    For me watching Pickens play I think he can be a top 5 WR in the league.

    Could be top 5, maybe. However in 3 years here he never really improved. What has he done besides being the same one trick deep threat that he was as a rookie? Granted, he’s really good at that one trick, but he’s never developed into a more complete receiver. He’s nowhere near top 5 now, and he’ll never be top 5 without dedicating himself to his craft and becoming a more complete player. Remember that guy from Georgia who was pancaking DBs blocking in the run game? Where did that guy go? He turned into a bystander who couldn’t give a rat’s @ss about any of his teammates having success.

    IF! and that is a huge IF, George Pickens is content playing out his contract this year, then the Steelers were complete IDIOTS for trading him.


    So, here we go again another offseason of watching Khan try to chase down another #2 WR as the rest of the league can only laugh and point. :)
