So people sitting around him said he was really drunk. He's 20 so that's against the law. I dint know if he was really drunk but I have never fallen over a rail at a baseball game. I hope he recovers and then the lawsuit for selling him beer can commence

This team sucks, only one player to get excited about and he only plays every 5 days. I want some hitters . Bubba C or Barco could get a good one from the O`s they have all kinds of young bats. Holiday, Mayo, Kerjerk or whatever it is for example. Damn not wasting anymore time watching the Pirates it's been a rough 40 years.

This is a very frustrating team to watch. I have no idea why Pham and Canario are on the roster. Pham is the kind of acquisition that a team makes if they are contending. Both of them do nothing for the Pirates but block the development of younger players. I see no great offensive talent at Indy but stick them out there and see if they can hit. The results could be no worse than what we have now.
I expect Chandler to be called up soon, and I hope Heaney or Keller is dealt for some offense at that time. Barco is breathing down the neck of Chandler. So is Harrington. If Jones comes back they could have a rotation of Skenes, Jones, Chandler, Barco, and Harrington. That is pretty good, and with excess starters to be flipped for sticks, this team could possibly not suck equine testes quite so badly.

Very embarrassing. I do believe they will be leaving Pittsburgh in a few years. Won't be so sad since we have not had a real MLB team in a long time.

I just wish fans would stop supporting the c--ksucker Nutting.

A staff of Skenes, Keller, Jones, Heaney and Chandler would be damn good if you had ML bats in your line-up.

Question, why would a contending team want Pham?? The Dodgers would use him to fetch Gatorade for the real ML players;)

True that nobody would probably want Pham now. What he contributes is easily replaceable in house. But the last three years or so, he was traded at the deadline. He was hitting a bit more then. Somebody wanted him. Contending teams will take a flyer on a veteran outfielder down the stretch, but for a team like the Pirates, it made no sense.
I think the Pirates are hoping his bat heats up so they can flip him.

Sorry Paul but you have to be perfect to get a win on this team. Don't fret you'll be on a real team one day.

Closing in on the White Sox for second worse team in MLB. Can we catch the Rockies? You can do it boys.

6 game losing streak. I predict if they get to 10 losses in a row it is the end of the rope for Shelton. He is on ice thinner than the Mon in April. New broom will sweep out Canario and Pham to make way for all those young players who are hitting hot in AAA (sarcasm alert). Nick Solak has an OPS over 1 and plays a number of positions. Of course he is 30 and is more a suspect than a prospect, but that is what we got.
It is obvious to move the oldest starting pitcher (Heaney) for a bat. Why they don’t is a mystery, unless they are hoping he will be worth more at the trade deadline with teams bidding against each other.

I'll assume it's Moon and ask you how do you know the ice is thin on the moon in April??? At the moment Cards are up 3-0 in eight so 7 straight. Come home for the Braves. Maybe Shelton will be let go on the off day tomorrow?

Steel, we should have started a dead pool for Sheltie. Too late to start it now. Bet he is fired by the weekend.
Nope, I meant the ice on the Mon.
