Average arm and it is easy to write his season off by crediting it to the talent around him.

The one thing Rudolph has struggled with is feeling pressure in the pocket. That is something that is really hard to coach, and actually most QBs either got it or don't.

Actually Dart has more talent than any of them, problem is He's not a great Qb, and needs lots of work.

Name Me a qb the Steelers have really developed since the 1970s, besides Ben.

Duck Hodges, the Steelers just never gave him that "4 year Superbowl window" we keep reading about on here.

I think arm strength was one of the big factors workiing agiants him? I highly doubt he even makes the 53.

This is why I say why bring a young QB in since we will fail in developing him. Course it would have helped if Ben had played above the turd level in playoff games. just my opinopn thought.

It isn't a Howitzer but I don't believe it is nearly as bad as others tend to make it out to be. Much of those throws he had that lost a considerable amount of juice were based on poor footwork and throwing mechanics; something Tom Arth can handle very well. Justin Fields looked far better during his limited run at any point in time in his career under Arth. I believe that Arth can unlock more of Howard's Arm Talent.

Not to the level of a Josh Allen or a Patrick Mahomes of course. It will be an arm that will be more than enough to get the job done.

They were not a franchise QB and Neil O'Donnell and Kordell had their moment with us

Didn't Tee Martin accomplish something that the great Peyton Manning never could at Tennessee?

It didn't help that Garrett hit him in the head with a helmet. I always felt like Mason lost a step in his confidence after that.

So it's your opinion that they just didn't have enough time. Ok we will see how they do with this current crop of QBs we have
