Cap space?

    They are for now. That's the Top 51 number, so some adjustments will come this summer as they add rookie contracts. Their rookie pool this year is $9.1M, but after some of those signees replace others on the 51, the estimated cost is $3.2M.

    As for extensions to Watt (or whomever) they'll likely covert some of his $21M base into signing bonus to save on cap space if needed.

    Rodgers will be a direct hit unless they add void years to his contract. So if he plays for the purported $10M, they could structure it as vet minimum in salary and ~$9M in signing bonus with two void years, and his cap hit in 2025 would be $4M.
