I don’t think that was it at all. He just doesn’t fit a wide zone scheme very well.hes far better suited for a gap scheme.

You just want a Qb to have a Qb. If Rodgers comes, whomever they draft, unless they were a surefire 1st round Qb, and Sanders isnt that, will be at best a backup if He's lucky. So Your asking them to draft a backup.

They’re paying him to be exactly what he’s been, and he has been valuable in the role.

Johnson was the top player left other than Sanders on quite a few boards. It isn't just the Steelers. The league doesn't think very much of Sanders. He would be long gone by now if they did.

This is what I've been talking about since the Steelers didn't use Harris's fifth-year option. They would have to use valuable resources this offseason to replace him, which was a big reason why I thought that was a mistake. They just proved me right.

They're all still there. Only Ward, Dart and Shough have been taken.

Fun fact, Kaleb Johnson did not have one fumble in college. In over 500 carries.

Still overpaid to a part of a three man rotation at RB

Everyone has said this is a weak QB class. I’m glad the Steelers didn’t panic and are sticking to their plan. If Cam Ward is part of the 2026 class, he would be the 4th QB taken and not the the first overall pick

The Raiders have two upcoming contiguous picks. My guess is Sanders goes there.

Warren, Johnson and Gainwell is a pretty good group. Say so long to Patterson.

Rodgers should have no impact, hes not a long term answer, hes a 1 year rental. Passing on Sanders was dumb unless they don’t want the headache that comes with sitting him a year behind Rodgers.

With Sanders you get coach prime it will be a package deal and that's a turn off for teams!

3? I don’t think Gainwell will see much of a share of the touches.

Packers took Golden and Savion Williams, they must be getting ready for the Olympic sprint team.

Dam Chargers! Hind sight anger. Hoping to snag him in 4th, would have been fine at 83 with the RBs on the board
