By the time Rodgers makes up his mind we can hire him as a Qb’s coach

Saw an article where he said he wanted to visit here and get a feel for the City and the Facilities. I’m not so sure that is our selling point. especially in the middle of the Winter.

The bet should be that if Rodgers hasnt signed by the draft and Sanders is picked then Rodgers won’t be a Steeler.

I'm not saying what I think the team will do, just what I think they should do. Rodgers is likely better than Rudolph or a rookie, but at this point the wins above replacement he brings is pretty low. While I believe in doing what you can to win, this team isn't knocking on the door of a Super Bowl (if they were I don't think he would've been waxing on about all of his off-the-field commitments to McAfee yesterday), and Rodgers presents a marginal upgrade of questionable character.

Not to mention, squeezing the last win or two out of a Rodgers doesn't line up with their choice to bypass adding more talent this offseason in order to protect the comp pick formula.

True anything compared to GB is an improvement. But Pittsburgh is pretty ugly and dreary in mid winter when comparing it to Malibu or where ever he lives. He didn’t have a choice with GB and he was younger and built his legacy there. That tends to enable you to look past its warts. Pittsburgh isn’t going to offer him the same nostalgia as GB because he has no ties here. So he would truly be seeing her for all her glory. Shared facilities with Pitt and all. Shouldn’t matter but to some players it does and perhaps at this point in his career it may matter. As you get older the creature comforts matter more. There is a reason people retire to Florida.

I think it's all in Rodgers' court. I don't think he will sign with a team. I think he will sit back and wait. It's a long season and QBs get hurt. Maybe McCarthy gets injured again and the Vikings come calling mid season.

If we have to go this season with MR, Thompson, and a rookie, we are truly doomed.

He may also have his eye on SF to see what happens with the Purdy contract.

Just read a couple of articles going around saying things didn’t go well with Sanders visit to Pittsburgh?!
Than there are articles it went well?!
So hard to know the truth in this disinformation age we now live in

Take it from the horses mouth, Shedeur said it was a good visit. He seems exactly the type of personality Tomlin loves and Shedeur touched on that saying Tomlin has the same views as his dad.

I don’t think Shedeur has any interest in playing for teams that routinely pick in the top 10. In fact I think Deion even said that.

Sanders isn’t no where near ready to be a starter in NFL. If they draft him he needs to sit and learn behind whoever our starting quarterback is.
On a side note, Colorado retiring Sanders and Travis Hunter’s jersey numbers.
Kordell had way better numbers and won a couple of bowl games, Sanders hasn’t done chit! Amazing

In all honesty it isn’t up to Sanders where he plays at this time. If Saints don’t take him, he will be available at 21

Listening to the fan this morning, guy that makes guest call ins, can’t remember his name. Said Sanders , Dart not ready. Suprisingly he said Milroe has the most upside of all qbs in this years draft.
I promptly shut radio off after that

Why? you think Rudoph is that much better? I don't think Sanderts will be a franchise QB. And neither will Rudolph

Sir, did I even mention Rudolph? Sanders is another potential reach like KFP.
Scouts say he has accuracy, but no arm or speed. Also, too small

You really think that he is an NFL starter right off the bat?
You also thought Willis was a starting qb too.
If you gamble please stay out of the casinos:lolol::lolol::roflmao:
