Yeah, I think he's depth, their room was super thin last year.

Echols is certainly fast enough running a 4.36 forty.

Yep, and they only returned three of seven from that group. So they need bodies, I was just hoping they'd acquire a higher-end one for the room as well.

I don't get this signing. You had chances to sign a long term guy. A guy 5-7 years younger. Are they all in on drafting a guy in the first and Slay is the one year bridge mentor?

Can we get Rodgers and Kupp. Now this will really give us some offensive fire power!

    Huh?
Reed signed 3 year 48 million
Joyce horn insane contract 4 year 100 million
Byron murphy 3 year 66 million
    Adebo 3 year 54 million

Yes I'll take a 10 million 34 year old who played a great part in the eagles winning the super bowl.

I'm really not thrilled with Rodgers. I think he's greedy and just a meh QB on Wilsons level.

They signed Peterson to 2 year14 million, 5.85 guarantee 2 years ago. Guess the price goes up with age.

That's the going rate for a good cb. Since they rarely draft and develop any, you have to pay for them. During Tomlins ENTIRE tenure they have drafted and developed three CB's that had any value at all. JPJ, C. Sutton, Keenan Lewis. THREE! In 18 years. And none of them are pro bowlers.

That being said, you have Slay for a year, then what? You obviously don't want to pay for a young cb, are you drafting a guy in the 1st this year? A 3rd rd guy? Are you certain they'll be able to step in and start in 2026? Or are you gonna bring Pat Peterson out of moth balls cause you can sign him for vet minimum?

I don’t believe they have yet but there are murmurs that they are open to releasing him.

There waiting for Cousins to be released.

Although Atlanta said today they will be giving Cousins his extra 10 million roster bonus that is due now, how much of that is believable???

Sounds like Atlanta might hold, and trade him to someone desperate for a QB1.

You only do that deal with Slay if you think you’re ready to win now with a few additional pieces. That tells me 100% we’re signing Rodgers. Delusion is ruling the roost.
