Steeles PR but I seriously doubt they'd let that get to those two.

Best thing to do at that point is to stop supporting the team all together. Don't buy any merch, don't watch any games, don't support any of their networks.

Long story short?! Speak with your wallet.

ownership ranked 31st. pretty disturbing if true. pretty much sums up where this organization has fallen to under art 2. never much cared for him from the start but he is the man for now. where are these minority owners? they have always had little say in any of this. about 10 or so years ago they were wanting MT changed and rooney was having none of it. two or so have left and bought their own teams. (browns and carolina) not much is ever said about this as far as criticizing this aspect of the team but since art 2 it has reared it's head more than ever. where there's smoke? after nearly 66 years as a fan, it's really disturbing watching where he has been taking this team. the chief is spinning.

I’m experiencing this in two of my teams, Rooney with the Steelers and Hal with the Yankees. They are like chok. Rice in lukewarm water, it has no taste and is fed to old people and babies.

This Rooney sucks pretty sad for having such a great lineage of ownership previously. Get this guy the hell out of here. Hope his son is way better.

it's a shame that storied franchises change different directions in part but do just enough of the old ways to keep it relevant. kind of so they won't notice.

I hope you are right, but there has to be a critical mass to have it make a difference. A fan or two here and there won't matter. And if they went full on Mark Davis mode and threatened to move the team if the economics suffered, that would suck royally.

I think Rooney looks at what worked with Cowher back in the day and figures it can work now as well.

Don’t know what he was listening to.

Already been announced Austin is coming back. No change there.

    Smith
    Arth
    Azzanni

All new coaches, not going anywhere. No changes there.

Myers is still under contract but they showed with Canada they are willing to fire a coach under contract. So maybe they replace him.

Dunbar has been rumored he may leave on his own. So maybe a replacement for him.

    Hardly big sweeping changes.

I have figured out the big 'sweeping' changes to the staff. They fired the janitor who pushed the broom.

We need to congratulate the Steelers organization. How do you do 'just enough' without winning too many, or too few games. THAT takes skill!

Cowher was smart enough to use a real full back when needed. Not a kid brother TE sometime full back. Watching a 242 lb RB get stuffed for no gain or a QB sneak that can t make a 4th and a ft is pathetic.
Offense is very predictable and vanilla , they under use the TE's ,and rarely use the middle of the field. Thinking one emotionally fragile WR was going to carry the offense was just grasping at straws .
Diontae must of been a real problem to get rid of him with almost no thought of replacing him.

Defense hasn't been able to cover TE's in forever they just get eaten alive by good TE's . Communication breakdowns in the secondary 16 games into the season is inexcusable.

But when the draft comes I will see every player drafted as a future HOF and I will drink the cool aid that this year will be the year and as the season wears on I slowly lose interest when I see the standard is less and less of a standard.

Those were some punishing Bus drivers. Then Bettis right behind them. Here are some Kreider highlights. Lester was a beast too, and a good guy. Got to meet him when my kid played in his flag football league.

The most maddening part are the reports coming out that the Steelers do things 'over and over again', not changing a thing from week to week, year to year (Edelman). So how is it there are communication problems at the end of a season for a team doing the same stuff for years? Do they just have stupid players? Or bad coaches that cannot teach rote technique?

Ownership itself was ranked 31st in the league. The players are tired of Rooney being this way. However, that does not matter. As long as the Steelers make a profit, all of this criticism means nothing. They win at least nine games every season. They make money on ticket sales and jersey sales.

When I read that I just inserted Nutting and Pirates and the 9 wins still sounds about right;)

Well that would explain strictly forbidding Wilson to check into better plays so they could stack up some losses and even things out.
