To me, it’s the same thing every season with the Steelers. They have a winning record you get your hopes up that they might be able to do something then they get in the playoffs and get their asses kicked in the first round and are one and done.

I like Mike Tomlin. He’s a good wordsmith and a good coach but these winning records every year and then getting in the playoffs and going absolutely nowhere that keeps us from getting a good draft pick to where we can get a good young quarterback and groom him instead of a 36 year-old Russell Wilson.

it’s incredibly frustrating to watch the same thing every year. Not trying to be a pessimist. It’s just the facts. I doubt very seriously we’re beating the Chiefs Wednesday.

hey laid a complete egg against a lousy team, it should never have come down to having to win in Baltimore.

Yeah, but regardless watching that team today, we’re not gonna get past the first round even if we have George Pickens. I mean George Pickens is phenomenal, but we can’t rely on one receiver to be our whole offense.

Say what you want about Ben Roethlisberger he can be a jackass no doubt, but the dude could play some football and was a good quarterback and yes, he had a great D I can’t deny that and he had a good O-line as well but you still gotta make the throws.

Really we should’ve won three Super Bowls because we should’ve beaten the freaking Packers but we couldn’t get the ball in from the 7 or 8 yard line at the end of that game. Aaron Rodgers is one of the dudes I hate the most in football. He’s a jackass.

I used to admire AR even after everything, even after the SB, what a great QB - as a person? he's proved himself to a complete and utter narcisscist, the guy is borderline unhinged.

Bottom line they have to get healthy and let’s see. Pickens is such a huge loss and it limits the offence massively when he is not on the field

whether they are the division winner or the wildcard I think this team is better placed to do something in the playoffs than recent seasons

It was a huge ask to win tonight and I think the result shouldn’t be a huge surprise

Ouch just finished the game as I had a feeling I didn't. Thank the heavens that once again, I was able to only have to watch this crap and spend less than an hour of my time on it. Whew. Team ain't going far this year.

Time to look forward to April.

If the Steelers and Ravens finish with the same record the Steelers win as long as we beat the Bengals. If we beat the Chiefs but lose to the Bengals then the Ravens win the tie breaker with the best division record. But let's face the Ravens aren't losing again and we aren't beating the Chiefs. Our best hope is beating the Bengals and securing the #5 seed and playing at Houston.

Whether we have or haven't been dominant has nothing to do with it. They couldn't contain Henry because they are depleted by injuries on defense. They wore the defense down which is the way they want to play. History has shown they can contain Henry and by extension, Jackson. They had two opportunities to get turnovers early in the game and they couldn't capitalize. I believe in the law of averages. Baltimore was bound to win one of these. Doesn't mean by any stretch that a healthy Steeler team can't beat them in a playoff game.

I know what you are saying… I’m just not confident the defense will play well in the playoffs. 35+ allowed average the last 5 losses…

Derek Henry is now 1-4 vs the Steelers. Good for him, he can hang 'em up now.
