Finally people on this board are starting to understand her it was rough there for awhile. On the Espn board she wrote in limerick form form for awhile frickin hilarious.

The ESPN boards are the worst MBs in the history of MBs.

And yes, it is a lot like the comment sections after their articles. A lot of the same cast of characters too. Im rarely there anymore and usually only stop by when Im bored so I can watch the train wreck and even troll a few of the dullards who are regulars there.

Its really is the ghetto/trailer park of message boards that is inhabited by some of the least knowledgable sports fans.

 

You obviously over reacted and responded without thinking first.
Its so over the top and so outrageous that its not even remotely believable.
Kudos for Brister for crafting something so crazy, but done in a way thats semi-believable and makes you read it twice to get it.

Jen, sometimes you have to read her stuff 4 and 5 times to get it and even then its not totally clear.

 

Yeah I rarely go there anymore especially since the format change but like bobby said its nothing but trolls and the mods don't really care. If you go to the steelers forum on the front page you may have 5 non troll topics. The nfl general forum is even worse. A group of us left and formed another board but we lost the admin got spammed like crazy and were left to search walking dead style for another board.

 

And thinking about it, that place really shaped the way I post. In a bad way. Sometimes I tend to get a little brash and maybe come off as a bit of an ass, but it goes back to the ESPN boards. Because of the contant mindless trolling you had to develop a bit of an attitude to deal with it. Some of that has carried over to here, I think.

One sure easy was to fix that problem over there would be to do away with the anonymity. You should be required to sign in with social media...preferably facebook...and use your real name. I guarantee that would cut down on 95% of the crap on that board. My local newspaper has done that, so I don't know why the worldwide leader in sports cant.
