Yeah the Safety at the combine with the Steelers tattoo.....
After the combine i found some tape and liked what i saw. I read his story. Steeler fan. Signs to play at Kent St.(he's a REAL Steeler fan) Ends up leaving school spent the following year working in a warehouse while taking classes at a community college, before enrolling at California University of PA. His honors at the program included: PSAC Freshman of the Year, four All PSAC-West selections, back to back Defensive Player Of The Year awards, and two-time Division II All American honors.
He plays hard and hits even harder we need help at S and he would be a GREAT rd5 pick!!
i've actually been talking to him on Twitter today was his schools pro day and i asked him he said it went well i asked him if there was any Steelers scouts there and he said he really wished there was but no.....

I hope he's at least on our radar. Just putting it out there maybe someone important will read it and take a look,,,worth a try Here are his highlights

I'm not a draft guy but I think he could be a late round steal. With a nickname like hammer of the gods how can you not like him.

 

Does anybody know the reason he left Kent State?

 

My opinion..if he didnt have a steelers tatoo...none on this board would know his name, let alone want to draft him.

Him and his bro wanted to play in college together he got recruited by a bunch of schools his bro just kent. His bro got kicked off the team for charges that were later dropped so he left.

 

If I would have seen his highlights I would have wanted him.

 

He left Kent St because his cousin was wrongly kicked off the team for something he didn't do. His cousin was later cleared by Kent St of any wrong doing.
SteelHack you are 100% correct with out the Steelers tattoo i would never know who he is... But,it intrigued me too look into the guy and when i did i sound someone who can play who fills a need we currently have AND is a Steeler fan....Look being a steeler fan you GET IT you understand what being a Steeler is..Look at how he plays.Look what school he signed to play for even though he could have signed with bigger schools..I Just think he get's it and after talking to him on Twitter i know it..lol i have a bit of a man crush......hahahha

 

Highlight reels can be deceiving. They are essentially a sales tool in which every single splash play a player has made throughout the course of his college career is condensed into a 5 minute montage which makes it look as if the guy makes a big play every time he's on the field. They are useful, I get that. But I've fallen in love with highlights before only to be sorely disappointed. The last time I remember that happening was with Frank Summers. I actually thought we had the next Bus when I looked at his college highlights.

 

Yeah, think about it. You could probably make a pretty awesome highlight video of William Gay. In his 5 years he's had some pretty clutch moments, and big plays... On the flip side if you were to make a highlight for someone like Darelle Revis there's probably not much material.


And that highlight video wouldn't show you that this happened...

I did a bit of a search and they are talking about him on 6-7 different team pages.....After the combine and his proday he seems to be having alot more press...
