Right, I think their D-line is even worse than the O-line. They need a NT that can stuff the middle, and a DE (or 2) that can rush the passer.

I’m as disappointed as anyone but these things happen to every team. The Browns beat the Ravens not long ago. Their season is over so these division games are their Super Bowls.

The team is still in a good spot at 8-3 and a kick in the ass like they got last night may be no harm. They now have a mini bye to work a few things out. We need to be realistic about what can be achieved on offence with this personnel however. The pass catching group is putting a very firm ceiling on the offence.

The offense scored a couple TDs in the 4th one on a short field turnover but they are regressing again. Can’t see an offense of this caliber winning any playoff game against a decent team. Especially because now we will likely be on the road.

 

That makes the decision even dumber. It's one thing if he was concerned that they couldn't stop a fourth-and-short all night, but giving them another down over five yards in those conditions made no sense. If they do kick and make it, at least the Steelers get the ball back with time to do something.
