Great, another year of a starting LB who wouldn't be a starter on at 22 other rosters! He couldn't play in Detroit, and they need LBs as bad as the need an honest Mayor

Larry Foote staying, Colon leaving with #Steelers?
    By Gerry Dulac
    Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The Steelers are negotiating with inside linebacker Larry Foote and hoping to sign him before the start of the free-agency signing period that begins at 4:01 p.m. today – and keep him from leaving for the Arizona Cardinals.
Also, the Steelers are expected to cut guard Willie Colon today and designate him for a June 1 release, thereby saving $5.5 million in cap space, a team source told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Colon, who has two years remaining on his contract, would then become an unrestricted free agent and could sign with another team. Colon was at the Steelers facility this morning.
The Steelers would like to re-sign Foote, an unrestricted free agent, because they are thin at inside linebacker. Also, the team is not sure if Sean Spence, last year’s third-round pick, will be able to play this season after sustaining a severe knee injury in the 2012 preseason.

    No, you've got it. :D

Sometimes you can't see it in the preview unless you 'go advanced' or preview post, but it still shows up.

Steelers reached agreement on a multi-year deal with veteran LB Larry Foote.

Interesting...and in a way not sure if I like it. Hope its not big money if its MULTI year...

3 years it looks. Hopefully he won't be the starter those 3 years. And I HOPE they still bring in Connor and kick his tires too.

No only should he not be a starter for the next 3 years he shouldn't have been one for the last one..he stinks!
This signing is a waste of money we don't have to keep younger guys!
