My thoughts on regular season wk 9 by wk .2nd half schedule edition..

Really what is most of the media who picked us last in the division going to say??

 

I see him getting out of position a lot on the big plays teams are hitting against the Steelers. Also, I have seen him getting beat in coverage on occasion, too. Fitzpatrick has been solid, but missteps on some deep throws and the lack of big plays are concerning. He is playing well, but not at the All-Pro level we have seen in the past.

 

I see Minka constantly trying to cover up all the mistakes that #26 is making in pass coverage. I have been doing a lot of swearing this year at Donte Jackson, because he just seems to be out of step with the rest of the Defense. Wrong place and Wrong time and poor Minka is having to come from Centerfield to make a TD saving tackle, or #26's man would have been able to run down the field untouched.

 

I have not seen Minkah play this season because I lose interest if the camera pans away from Watt.

 

And this is exactly why I wanted Lattimore.

 

That was never going to happen look at what Washington gave up to get him.

 

Minkah also played with better CBs when he first came to the Steelers, Jackson has three interceptions but he gets beat a lot.

So we are paying him elite money to play CF?? Come on man. You damn well know he has been underperforming the last couple years. He is supposed to be all pro. How many stretches did Troy or Ed Reed have 0 INTs?

 

Fans got spoiled by Minkah's early years with the Steelers, it seems that's what Austin wants him to do is play CF.

 

I’ll give you scheme has a part in it but it doesn’t excuse his lack of any explosive plays.

 

Let's cut Minkah he hasn't had an interception in two years .
