Cam Sutton has officially been reinstated from suspension

this is big, goes w/o saying. just when we need him, this was stated pre-season when all this was going down...

 

That would probably be a mistake. He was damn good for us in the slot. Detroit used him solely on the outside and he struggled badly.

Great news! We can line him up against Diontae Johnson against the Ravens. I'm not sure why people are limiting him to slot when he played the outside well here before.

 

Hopefully he has learned how to keep his hands off people's necks.

 

Ask the Lions about his ability to play the outside. That's how they tried to use him last season. The results were disastrous.

 

Those are huge returns. McCollum was exposed Monday night. I'm sure Lawrence would have done some damage no matter who was at center, but Frazier could have held up better.

They really need that third pass rushing outside linebacker to mix in with Watt and Highsmith. I still think you might see all three on the field together at times against the Ravens. Moon isn't terrible, but he's not enough of a threat rushing the quarterback.

 

Because many of us are aware of how badly he got torched playing primarily outside for the Lions.

 

We did use him outside, but not as frequently as the Lions tried to do...as they soon found out why.
