College Game Day Thread 9/28

    Starting a thread for today’s games, and of course the BIG game Georgia @ Alabama. Imagine how huge this game would be this early in the season if the CFP was still only 4 teams. I don’t have a rooting interest. I just want a full 4 quarters that lives up to the hype. My pick: Alabama in a 1 possession game.

    Not only am I not a fan of the playoff, but 12 teams is absolutely ridiculous. When does it end? 16 teams? 20?

    Crazy ending last night in Miami when they called TD on Hail Mary then overturned it

    “ it was determined that the loose ball was touched by a Miami player while he was out of bounds which makes it an incomplete pass and immediately ends the play,"

    UConn leads Buffalo 23-3 at the half. I’d be there, but my wife isn’t feeling well and decided not to go. Fortunately it’s on CBS Sports network.

    Kentucky has a good game plan. They know they have to keep Ole Miss offense on the sidelines.

    Ole Miss first game against a team that isnt a high school team. Not the big bad wolf it thought it was. #6 in country, really?

    VT had to take one in the loss column for the ACC last night to keep Miami undefeated. Called a TD on the field everybody in the booth and the online broadcast official all concluded that there was no way the call could be overturned, but as soon as they showed that the call would be decided be the league office I knew it was over for VT.

    No way the league would give their unranked team the win over a team that was in the top 10 and competing for a national championship.

    I didn’t watch it last night, but I just watched the play in slow motion about a half dozen times, and it was clearly incomplete in my view. Control was never established.
