He made no mistakes.... and he let Cousins make his mistakes. Awesome. But Boz is the man today, and TJ

He’s a backup. He’s got plenty of athletic ability and granted the playcalling was very conservative but from what i saw he’s a shaky passer. Were not going anywhere if he’s our starter.

The fumbled snap and I just hung my head shaking it thinking “I’m going to get it on the board” :lolol:

I think it was an ok performance. He was solid in the 4th which has been a weakness for him.

Not a performance that would keep Wilson on the bench if he is healthy but also enough that Tomlin may want to see more. He’s got an interesting decision to make if Wilson is healthy next week.

Fields did just enough today, and he didn't turn the ball over. Let's face it though, the D and Boz saved us

Knowing Tomlin he will likely opt to start Wilson. Hopefully Wilson's calf is good enough to go. No need to rush him if it isn't.

Don't need Russell Wilson's career to end via a catastrophic leg injury.

we need better than this if the steelers are going to make noise in the playoffs. The only way that happens is if Wilson has a comeback year

Tough situation. He did better than I expected after things smoothed out. Bar was admittedly pretty low

Good game by Fields, but I can see why Wilson is the starter.

I was down on Fields so he exceeded my low expectations

He still does not look for a man downfield if his primary is covered

But he made some nice downfield passes to the primary

Maybe don’t call any intermediate or short passes and just go deep when you don’t run

The problem with going to Wilson, is the upgrade in the passing game enough to offset the liability his legs might be? He takes a lot of sacks and you're taking away the threat of the run with him in there. Hopefully he is able to click with his receivers quickly.

He missed some easy throws early on and didn’t see open receivers downfield. Couldn’t get in the end zone against the Falcons. It’s a win but we need much better QB play to have a good season.

AS needs to spread balls around to different players. More tight end middlemof the field throws would help
