What's Cookin? preseason final game time for you guys to prepare.

see what i did there? prepare. OK. we are playing the starters for this one. what you got as we get ready for what's cooking this season. did you draft any new recipe's? did you hold camp with your grill? returning favorites? injuries to your grilling arm?

pulled pork here. carolina vinegar style. tater tots. a couple of zero sugar cola's. simple but effective.

10am out here in LaLa land so probably leftover cold KFC since granddaughter is here for the weekend and that's what she craves. Boring, I know.

 

as summer is winding down, i may even change up and burn something on the grill. hot sausage maybe. pulled pork sounds good but so does hot sausage on that outdoor cooker.

 

This game should be all about getting the first team ready for the season. Forget about player evaluation on the back end of the roster, we don’t have that luzxury. I would play the offensive line and the Wilson until we can prove we can sustain a long drive without penalties, sacks, etc. If Jones flubs this one up he needs to sit and heal. I really don’t understand how after a year of playing in the league you can’t have the punch down yet and you let people get into your chest. Its a bad habit that goes back to last year it isn’t just due to his elbow injury this year.

 

Got a birthday coming up this week, wife says where do you want to go for dinner? But I think I’ll look for a bone-in ribeye and some lobster tails and grill them. Feel free to offer any grillling tips, rubs, marinades. I’m still formulating my strategy.

Looks like Italian sausage over pasta. Since I just made enough for 4 days.

 

Shoot, thought it was a night game Saturday. Generally I hate night games but I'll miss this one due to 1:00 start time.

 

Boy tough start time on Saturday, probably go out grab a bite!

 

It's perfect time for Me. I'll be just finishing up chores, and work around the place right before kickoff. The 3 o'clock times are bad for Me. No matter what day it is....I must go out, and have things, and animals to take care of during that time
